Re: Conchords sheet music - official book

um, yes!! yes, that's what I mean! Do you have the whole song written up like that? I will have had the whole song written up like that IN THE FUTURE. If you ask me, that is, which I will assume you already have. Though the whole song works by those two bits for about 95% of it. Will...

Re: Conchords sheet music - official book

Is this what you mean by notation? (this would be the main chords to both of the parts, and Jemaine's arpeggios on the second part are just eighths of the highest three notes on the first chord [four total notes since the E is repeated on two strings] and the highest four on the second [with the F c...

Re: Stana tabs??

The electric stranger is correct! I would just add that the Dm E part repeats once before heading on to Am. I: Am (as detailed in my post above, though the bass notes are sometimes dropped when the verse lyrics begin) This is the strangest tale you’ll ever hear Wherever you go, far or near, Bb In ...

Re: Carol Brown Lyrics (S02EP05)

Anyone got tabs for an Omnichord? :) My parents are visiting this weekend and bringing the one from when I was growing up. I'm not sure when we got it. Late 80's or early 90's maybe? I'm hoping to see if I can figure out some of Carol Brown. It should just be a case of following the chords I outlin...

Re: Stana tabs??

Edit(I can't seem to find the edit button any more on my posts?[EDIT2: Ok, just the one above...]): At first listen the main bit is an Am like so e___0_______0 B___1_______1 G___2_______2 D___2_______2 A_0_______0 E_____0_3 etc. The multi-note parts(2210) are a quick little two-part strum that I did...

Re: Stana tabs??

I've been abstaining from listening to Stana until now, but I'll most certainly take a crack at it. It might take me a while (I'm aeroplaning away without a computer or guitar for a while), but I'll listen and see what I can do. Also, I have Bus Driver's Song all but figured and will be posting it s...

Re: Whatcha readin?

Ran through Candide (funnish, philosophicallish) and Cat's Cradle (so very good. my first Vonnegut and he's won me over, I recommend deeply) Currently: Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbo Heavy so far, and good. Definitely not a war book first and foremost. Next in line: Don Quixote. I can't fail to...

Much better than the concept implied by the title allows one to think this would be. At least until those non-Conchords start singing. : I

Re: Conchords sheet music - official book

I don't know what's happening. If I play it without the bass run, it sounds fine, but I feel like I'm cheating, and of course it's missing something. Now, I don't know exactly where your running into trouble on this, but for most people I've run into it's the last note in the run, which is hit on a...

Re: LOST *WARNING: Spoilers Inside!*

Ok, that was The. Best. Episode. of. This. Season. Locke is back and in charge, eh? He says he's the same man but obviously he's not, not completely. He knows stuff now....I want to see him talk to Jacob. I really want to know who or what he is! I hope they tell us this season. So...what do...

What's the most random FoTC reference you've seen lately?

Sadly I cannot see things coming from my mouth, unless I were to ingest a more than healthy helping of LSD. I assume.

Re: On this day in history

Non, I'm one of those "Jon"s. But I empathize with the plight of the Gregs. Though we can find some solace in the new found exposure of said plight. Perhaps they can be saved after all. As an aside, Gregory Peck rocks the party.
