WOW! There goes another weekend spent in front of the computer, obsessively Bret-gazing, as "Strangers in the Night" plays in the background. Actually, sounds like a good time. Thanks for posting. Sorry about that whole ice storm thing, sounds rough, we've had a heat wave here in the South.

AmazonUK. Well worth the current exchange rate. I received mine in less than a week. Meanwhile, the first 2 episodes and the beginning of the third are on YouTube.

Yes, as much as I love the TV series, I agree the BBC radio show is better--different.

Oh no, not really expecting one, just prattling on late night. However, it is quite clear that more people do want (and, indeed, have) a piece of them. It's that double edged sword of success, especially in the U.S. As Neil Finn said, "Big money, that's the devil, isn't it?"----or somethin...

Not sure I want to mellow just yet. Episode 4, Bret writes a 2 hour song for Koko, then a lenghty good-bye letter to Jemaine, I wonder if this is reflective of Bret's writing style.[/quote]

Bret to Murray on the tube after he shoots himself----This is bad management.

If there were to be more Q&A, I would like to ask Bret

Why he sometimes leaves his guitar strings very long at the head, is he just in a hurry or is it a music thing (perhaps any guitar player could answer this)?

Did he know Neil Finn before the BBC series and would he introduce me?

I'm beginning to feel obsessive...not happy unless I'm watching, listening to, reading, daydreaming Conchords. In episode 12, when Bret introduces Demetri to Murray, Dimetri has animals on his shirt as does he in the "Humans Are Dead" club scene.

In Episode 6, Bowie, when Murray holds up the group photo that neither Conchord is in, the circled one on the left of the screen appears to actually be Bret.

In "Drive By" just after Dave teaches the boys about the bird, they round a corner on their bikes in slow motion and in the background there is a vendor kiosk with seagull lawn ornaments, wings flapping in the wind

In Episode 3, "Mugged", when Bret takes Murray and Dave to the alley where he abandoned Jemaine, there is a piece of Jemaine's jacket on the top of the fence where his sleeve was caught.

That smile!

I joined to say one thing only, what about Bret's smile? Those fabulous pearly whites contrasted against the beard, so sincere. Very reminiscent of George Harrison ala the Let It Be album cover. AAAHHH!
