Hmm, I'd never thought of that! Videos aren't allowed to be taken of concerts or anything, but I do have a copy of the CD that I recorded with the Chamber Choir three years ago...

Have fun songbird! Your trip sounds very exciting. The beautiful Danube River runs through Germany and Austria. You'll be able to get some nice scenic photos. I wish you safe travels and I can't wait to hear about it when you return! :D

I haven't been around the past couple weeks as I've been gearing up for my trip, tying up loose ends at work and having to take care of a crap-load unforeseen events - broken windows, car repairs, commuting hell AND to top it all off my cat, Spooks, died suddenly. (I miss you lil buddy!) :( I have not been more ready for a holiday in my life. I leave Sunday night and it can't come soon enough.
I most likely won't be checking in here, but I will try to update facebook on occasion (most of my friends & family are active over there so it makes most sense). I'll be back in August!

Oh there's no camping involved. Most people do, especially in Garner State Park, but not us. My parents are building a house out there and it's not quite finished but we stay in it anyway. In the summer, basically I spend my days hanging out in the Frio River floating in a tube, getting a tan and drinking beer. It's a Texas tradition. :)

Well, bye for a week from me. I'll be leaving tomorrow for the wilds (not really) of the Eastern Townships, Quebec. About 5 kms (that's about 2 or 3 miles, I think) from the U.S. border, near Jay Peak, VT I guess. The weather's supposed to be crap but oh well. I'm bringing along a laptop but don't actually know if there will be internet access. So if I miss out, please vote wisely over on the smackdown thread. Oh, I'm going to miss so much... :(
