A new rear passenger side window for my car. (I managed to break it using a lawnmower and a rock. Cool. 8) )

A textbook for my Intro to Theatre class. I only paid around $8 for it on half.com and my college bookstore is selling used copies for $69.50. In short, I love half.com.

I hope your aunt is okay Laura.

In celebration of me finishing school, I went on a rather, erm, large shopping spree and bought new makeup, a cute cardigan and a summer dress. I love shopping success!

Shopping trip=WIN! Nicely done, songbird- congrats on finishing. :)

Thanks....she's ok, just waiting for test results and what's to be done next. Atrial fibrillation.....strangely high blood pressures..... My Mom's having a harder time than my aunt- they're identical twins.

Hope all is well, Laura.

Dandy, we're in the same boat, but mine was worse: A new front windshield. :?
It started with a crack I didn't really notice because the inspection sticker hid it, then it started to spider toward the center, so it was too late to do the cheapo suction thing. So today they came to the house and in half an hour I had a new front windshield. They said there was the teeniest ping that might have been from a pebble (*shakes fist at those dastardly pebbles*), and that was probably the cause.
My wallet is definitely lighter now.

I hate deductibles......Bummer, Dandy and Nancy.

*Aside to Dandy:* I thought of you today. I was mowing out front & as as I got near the steps I apparently mowed over a small stone which flew out and hit the house, hard. Just below one of the windows. I immediately started laughing as I imagined how ironic it would have been had it broken the window so soon after reading of your unfortunate accident. Tom wouldn't have found it ironic or funny.......it was just weird cuz I can't recall ever running over a stone and having it fly out like that before!

To stay on topic........

Today I paid a ticket I got yesterday. :| (Is that considered "buying" something?)

Sorry to hear about everyone's driving misfortunes and tickets - I guess they're a misfortune too though...

Some bagels and spaghetti hoops :D

A gift for my son's girlfriend, who just graduated from high school. Got her a a nice journal and a book of quotes. Also, my five year old managed at the same store to fanagle me into buying her a tinkerbelle book with a craft set with fairy wings to decorate. She knows she has me wrapped around her little finger, and I often give in because I feel guilty dragging her all over the place while I run errands. (Got it on sale at least!)
