Just put down little unexpected pleasures, favors or gifts from the universe here.

Mine: Pandora decided to play Earth, Wind and Fire's "September" twice in an hour for me!

I love Earth Wind and Fire!!!! Sadly, I can't think of anything really awesome that's happened to me lately. I woke up this morning, that's a good thing.

It's looking like something I've written is going to be published in anthology. :D

Ryche, on Canada Day each city usually holds some kind of celebration including a giant cake (1,000 pieces, apparently). I remember this from my youth. Unfortunately, we got there too late for cake, the celebrations were lame and we got rained on. :( Oh well. Glad others are having a good day.

DT, that is AMAZING!!! Congrats! What kind of anthology? Do tell!

I was at Phillips Square, and had a similar experience (lines around the square for less than a quarter of a cake left). So I spent the day at the fine arts museum instead. Good times.
If you don't know the answer, change the question.

Thanks guys! :D

The anthology started out as a blog. The idea was to write a piece on the theme of broken heartedness really. It's a little more gory but I'll leave the gory details out. hehe Myself and some other writers on twitter all submitted pieces. I wrote two very, very short stories. I was told tonight that either one or both will be used but will I be in the anthology "absolutely yes." Squeeeeee! I won't make any money as the proceeds will be going to charity but I'll get my name out there which is something! :supz:

It will be. If you, Suzy or anyone wants a link to the blog just PM me. It's a little violent to post here and I'd rather not share it out in the open anyways. But, if you guys want to read it that would be great! It's 2 very short stories, but neither are for the faint of heart. Nor, is the rest of the blog. hehe

Yes, Congrats Ryche! Sorry was all giddy and caught up in my own thing. :?
