On one hand, I want to hate them, on the other, they sure look toasty!

I can't hate the Snuggie. They're just so funny! I almost want to get them as gag gifts for my family but I know if I did, they still be put to good use.

Snuggies are so cute yet ridiculous.

If a bunch of people wear them at the same time, they look a bit cultishy.

Um, I got one for me and one for my Mom at a discount store.

I haven't used mine yet, but my Mom only uses hers if she knows she won't be getting up for awhile - it's very trippable, with the bottom being so long. It's a great throw for sitting on the sofa, though, but I can see the cultishness after seeing that Today Show pic!

Man, on Thanksgiving my Mom handed me a hint-list and when I was reading what she'd put down for my step-Dad, I had to leave the room cuz it started me laughing too hard: a Snuggie!!

Tom and I had just laughed over one I saw in a catalog that had a big pocket on the chest for your remote and you could even have your name embroidered on it!

But I did indeed buy him a Snuggie.

Hm. I'd originally posted a YouTube parody of a Snuggie ad that was hilarious and warned it had R-rated language, but then figured it couldn't be here. So, if you want to see it, go to YT and search "WTF Blanket- Snuggie Parody."

Hmm. Laura, I think because you warned of its R-Rating and the fact that it wasn't written profanity, it would have been okay. I was just watching it without sound (darn computer! ),
and it seemed okay visually. I'm sure the R was for the voiceover, right?

And boy, don't you folks need Snuggies right about now in your neck of the woods! *wishes there were a shiver emoticon*

I just saw the dog Snuggies at Target yesterday!
I was laughing because on the box it says "keeps you warm and your paws free!" like the dog is the one reading it.

That woman with the baby is creepy! It kinda reminds me of Alien when that little alien pops out of the guy's chest.

Yep Nancy, the voiceover has a lot of swearing, so....didn't want to get smacked.

We've watched it about 6 times and it seems to get funnier with each viewing......

I'll wait til he's had a it a couple of weeks before showing the vid to him, then he'll hopefully see the humor! I also got him lots of DooWop music and aDVD of same, so he can curl up in his Snuggie, watch the DooWop bands, and use his Snuggie-light to read the liner notes.....

Same here, MM! I transferred it all onto cassettes for him (In summer he likes to listen in the garage on his radio/cassette boombox) and filled 3 90-minute tapes!! I did a lot of dancing/singing in the kitchen while doing so, lol!

Does anyone do a bad-gift white elephant exchange? I've heard about others who do...they try to find the tackiest, awful-est thing they can, It's all for laughs of course.....

We got Wrigley a Snuggie the other night. The only things is that there are these big velcro strips on top and it looks totally rediculous and the could snag on all kinds of stuff.

I want one that isn't open in the back. I just want like a giant pull over blanket so that the back of my necks and shoulders stay warm too. In fact, can they just make me a cocoon with arms so that I can still change the channel.

Hahahaha this reminds me, last year I knit my mom some fingerless mittens. I told it was so she could keep her hands warm but still pick her nose hahaha. She loves them. In fact, for Christmas she asked for another pair in black.

My coworker got a dog snuggie but put it on her obese cat. She said the cat stood there for a second and then just fell over on his side. He refuses to move whenever she puts it on him.
