All our wishes came true! :whitey:

Great show, super use of Lady Gaga and the rest of the ...guests. :thumb:
(don't want to spoil it too much for the West Coast)

That girl would have been the hugest Broadway star. What a strong, theatrical voice she has! And she can dance and act. Well, Broadway's loss is pop music's gain. :D

I am so glad the powers-that-be at SNL knew what we wanted, down to Jimmy Fallon's Barry Gibb chest hair! :roll2:

YAY It was everything I would have wanted in the finale. I go agree Nancy, pop music got one hell of a talent, and such a voice.

Loved her in the skits too. YAY the JT & AS songwas so fun!

Love Justin Timberlake!

With the exception of 1 or 2 skits I wasn't feeling this episode. But I loved Seth Meyers' joke about clearing his internet history every 4 hrs in case he dies & his mom comes over. I have similar fears. :worry:

I also loved Seth's "Really?!?" bit, though I missed Amy Poehler's high voice saying, "Really?!?"

Yay- I stayed awake for most of it, lol! Had it set to record so caught the rest Sunday.....I was so happy to see The Barry Gibb Talk Show but as much as I love it, it is getting a bit stale and I think that next time, they need to have the real Barry or Robin come on, lol....remember when they did that on Jeopardy w/ Trebek?

I loved most of it- it can't all be gold but it was overall an excellent and funny show. Seth nailed Ahnold, lol! "Really?! You have giant balls for a guy who definitely has tiny steroid balls." :rolls: Loved how he said his movie titles were perfect NY Post headlines: "Junior. Twins. True Lies. Predator. Judgement Day. Collateral Damage. Raw Deal." :thumb:

Justin Timberlake is definitely one of the Top 10 best hosts of all time. And GaGa was pretty good...I'm liking how they're starting to put the musical guests into skits. :)

And come on! Did no one else think of Bret and Jemaine while watching Andy and Justin's 3-Way video?! "It's not gay when it's in a 3-way...with a honey in the middle there's some leeway..." :thumb: I won't quote any more lyrics, go watch it! (Before YT removes it, lol!)

Yep, I totally thought of "New Fans" when they did the 3-Way song too. I love JT. I still think the Matrix intro thing he did with Sean William Scott and Will Farrell for the MTV movie awards is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. He's a great host.

I remember them working Frank Zappa and Paul Simon into a sketch or three back in the day....

Not saying it's never been done- but they've been putting them into more than 1 skit per show, which is cool. :) (As long as they can act...)

One of the best early SNL shows was the Thanksgiving show hosted by Paul Simon, dressed as a turkey, complete with turkey feet. The opening section was classic. And HIS musical guest was George Harrison.

Every time I see the musical guests in skits, I keep thinking, Bret & Jemaine would tear it up.
i know it's a few years too late, but hey really should do the show, either as hosts or musical guests. :hammer:

This season of SNL has been a little weak but I loved last week's Christmas episode with Jimmy Fallon. It felt fun and spirited.

Especially this:

Tracy Morgan is the best part.

And this:

Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon, and Amy Poehler return for a Weekend Update Joke Off.

James Bobin: “It’s like a five-year-old and a three-year-old. Jemaine’s the five-year-old, and Bret’s the three-year-old. They’re both wrong, but the five-year-old thinks he’s right.”

I didn't watch SNL when Jimmy or the other cast members who returned last week were on so all of that stuff was new to me. Jimmy's always great & this was probably the best ep of the season so far.
