James Bobin Q&A

Postby Sherry » Wed Feb 25, 2009 11:36 am

I'm hoping this works out for us all, its been set up, just needs a bit of nurturing along now  Thought I'd share with you all on the forum first for a bit before posting on the main site and elsewhere :)

JB, director/co writer/creator of the Conchords HBO show has kindly agreed to a WTF! Q&A about it all (and anything else you care to ask I guess).

I thought it'd be cool if you wanted to ask aspects about behind the scenes, a bit more background info on locations, director ideas, filming, shoots for the songs used (who comes up with the ideas for some of those!) insider stuff on the show and how they worked. Bret and Jemaine are never really that forthcoming on that sort of thing, and if they are, its always hard to know if they are actually being serious.

So yeah, have a think of any questions you might like to ask JB. He's a really chatty friendly guy and a fair bit more wordy than Bret or Jemaine.

No limit to how many Q's you submit. Just make sure you PM them or email me (email below in a button), don't post them here. O and spell check please. And let me know what name you'd like to have listed with them. You've got about 10 days or so to send them in. Maybe a bit longer.

Cheers :D

Sherry, can we discuss ideas here? And then send them to you when we've mulled them over a bit?

Sure feel free to natter away here about things :)

Just I find it easier to keep the Q's in order if they get sent to me. Saves me having to troll through the thread to find them.

Forgot to add, I'll take a selection of questions asked, not all of them. Unless there are only 2 or something :P I'll try to include as many as possible but won't promise.

Thanks, Sherry! I've already sent you my two questions :) They're probably lame and you'll probably get a lot of people asking them, but it's stuff I wonder about often!

Questions sent! Although, I think I asked too much haha. I really want to know more about James Bobin's perspective on the whole matter especially since he basically has my dream job. :prayer:

Heh the amount of people who are asking about a 3rd season

As to if we'll get even a vague answer to that I don't know. Maybe I just won't include it :lyre:

Sherry, do I still have time to think about what I want to ask James over the weekend? I haven't had a moment to pull my thoughts together, and I'm hoping that I get some time in the next couple of days to think it over carefully. Is that okay? I'm as slow as a snail with a hangover, but I'd really like to get the chance to ask Mister Bobin, you know, stuff.

Sure, there is no set deadline for my end. Just whenever. But I wanted to get them in in the next week or so. In the hope he'd have time to reply before the series ends.
