Thanks so much, Great H and Laura! You should definitely go to the gig, H! :D

No, they didn't seem to mind being videoed. In fact I think I read in one of their newsletters that they'd like people to send in pictures and videos from their European tour gigs to them. :)

I'm the same as biscuit  The butterflies in my stomach are sick with excitement.

Great H, I'll mention it to my bro and his gf about the zoo gig.

Great recap, Venus! So glad you got to meet them and get your cd signed.

I think Indy said she was going to see them, either tonight or last night. It's great that so many of you are going to get to see them. :thumb:

Vesna was kind enough to write a little bit different version of it for my blog.

Thank you!

I think Indie saw them yesterday and I'm on my way to Scotland to see them in Edinburgh and Glasgow next week.

Yes SW, the zoo!
Every summer they hold four or five concerts there at the band rotunda in an open grassland area - people take picnics and sit with a glass of wine enjoying good music. It's pretty neat. You're not amongst the animals, though some are pretty close - the otters probably have the best sound! Usually they have some pretty good artists lined up too. The Black Seeds played there last year!

Kipples I just looked again and it's on March 4 (not in February as I first thought) - here is a linkee to send your brother where he can find out a bit more and buy tickets in advance if he's interested. (TPF are sharing the bill with Liam Finn.) Tix can be bought at the gate (if it doesn't sell out), but they're $5 more that way. I'm thinking I'll probably have to go on my own as I don't know anyone else who'd be keen, so tell him if he sees a Nelly-no-mates in a pink paisley tunic it's probably me!

Aww, I'm glad you all enjoyed reading my recap, watching the videos and seeing the pics! Haha yeah biscuit, I'm tight with the guys now so I'll just casually introduce you all to them. ;) And no problem, emira! I'm expecting a long recap from you about the Glasgow & Edinburgh gig as well (no pressure! ;) ).
I can't wait to share the TPF live experience with some of you! :woohoo: Wish you all could be there too!

sighkid has uploaded really good videos from the Rough Trade East gig as well :D

Thanks for clarifying H, I was laughing so hard over that visual that I couldn't breathe for a bit. It seemed very FOTC, like one step up from a camper van gig or the aquarium. :)

Ha! :roll2:
Actually I think it would be even cooler if it WERE amongst the animals!
Might hurt their little ears tho :( and we wouldn't want to frighten the meercats or piss off the lions!!

Hey, there! I've uploaded my best shots from the two gigs I was at. Here they are.

My time there was just pure awesomeness. I got to talk to Luke in Polish! Sam is also wonderful and the rest of the guys are the sweetest and down to earth guys you could ever imagine.

I wish I could tell you more, but since I got back home I sleep 4 hours max, because of a lot of work. I'll try to make this up at the weekend.

Soon I'll see them again!

:yay: Brilliant photos, emira and I'm so glad you had an amazing time in Scotland! Sounds like they had a fun time in Scotland too judging by their Facebook updates/tweets. And yes, they are definitely genuinely nice guys.

Yes, before you know it we'll be seeing them live again at The Borderline! :supz:
