I'm not sure if "Conchords Cohorts" is the right section but I just had to start a thread about them after reading the Hamish and Andy radio show article on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamish_%26 ... io_show%29 I was laughing so hard at some of the antics they got up I can only imagine how funny it would have been to actually hear it as it happened.

I've been watching a lot of their videos as well. So far this is my favourite one

I've been watching their videos too. I hadn't seen that one. I like watching them go ghosting.

Yay for a Hamish & Andy thread! Thanks for creating one, kipples and yes, this is the right place for it. :D

I first got into Hamish and Andy a few years ago cos they work with and are good friends with two of my favourite comedians, Chris Lilley and Adam Hills. I know you're also fan of Summer Heights High, kipples so I could send you a link to an interview H&A had with Chris Lilley that I recorded back in 2008 from one of their radio shows for Sorry Ranga Day if you want (and anyone else who's interested). It's hilarious! Also, whilst they were doing the Caravan of Courage for Great Britain and Ireland, they had a radio show on Absolute Radio UK and I'd really recommend that you listen to those podcasts which are available for free on iTunes (well on iTunesUK at least). :D

There are so many funny clips to mention. Both of the clips posted so far are amongst my faves too!
Another funny clip:

Some of my faves of Hamish on Thank God You're Here:

Ya kipples! I've been doing the same- they're all new to me and sooooo funny! Ghosting and speed-ghosting, lol! (Near the end.) I about peed my pants!

And he's so great on Thank God You're Here!

They tried to replicate that show here but it flopped...I know Dave Foley was involved but I don't recall who hosted it or anythgin else, really.

The Gangaroos...(I can't believe they didn't get shot...lol)

Venus, I'd love any links you have thanks.
I tried watching TGYH but I don't think it's my cup of tea, but I do finally get the famous line that Mr G gives Summer Heights High.

The Gangaroos was new to me and bloody hilarious  I'm surprised they got away with it too.

A few of my new favourite vids:

4.20, one of the most heartbreaking and sweetest moments ever

So funny! And I agree...that 1 scene was heartbreaking. He definitely had it harder than Hamish. And the gorilla suit stunt....my throat hurts from laughing!

I'd never seen Real Stories before, I see I could spend the entire day watching these guys! :D Who's the "newswoman?"

Here's a wee taster of Hamish's Kiwi accent. I really, really like Andys' though :D

On wikipedia it says "It was hosted by Jennifer Adams, a former Seven Network reporter." She's very good for the tiny part she plays.

I'm having my usual bout of insomnia but this has givin me the chance to listen to an actual live Hamish&Andy show. Just caught the start of the second hour. Guess where they'll be broadcasting from next week? New Zealand :D

Me thinks I'll be having another sleepless night next Thursday

They've also lauched their new website http://www.hamishandandy.com

:rolls:
That 'water wastage' vid was hilarious!
They got the accent COMPLETELY wrong of course... *cough*

You know... *ponders*... I used to go to Uni with the guy Hamish dobbed in. :hrm:
Hmmm... I wonder if he has Hamish's contact details (who, of course, has Bret's!)...
*ponders sneakiness*
No, I wouldn't dare. :chick:
AND I've another potential connection through a workmate of mine, who's ex-boyfriend is friends with Nigel from WIUO, who of course has Bret's number...

NZ is a such a small country that '7 degress of separation' is rarely more than 2 or 3!
Ahh, so close, but yet so far!

Oh... :topic:

Great H, you can listen to their radio show here for live streaming and you can also download their podcasts, or subscribing to the show as a podcast on iTunes etc on their website. :)

I explored their new site before I went to bed last night, looking great! I just listened to their latest podcast. Haha, love these guys! Poor Hamish getting quite a lot of stick for gaining a bit of weight. ;) Can't wait for their show in NZ next week although I won't be able to listen live as I have an early start but I will definitely tune in to the podcast. Wouldn't it be great if they had Bret as a guest?

Love the Welcome video too!

The website is fabulous! The animations made to go with previous podcasts are hilarious...I got stcuk there for quite a while. :)

I think Hamish looks wonderful- he certainly doesn't look "fat" to me. He's just not quite as lean as he was before.

Ah, Great H, you have some self-control! I'd use those contacts and just see what happens. :D

I LOVE this idea....don't know if it'll work- sound as if it'll be quite painful if it does- but I like the idea!
