I love the part when Jemaine and Bret are trying to write the song and Jemaine sings oh so sincerely:

"Some women like men, some are lesbian, Femident toothpaste."

The look on his face is so cute. It makes me smile every time I see it.

On a side note, I was watching the episode today with my mom and she actually recognized that part of the plot that was lifted from the radio show which she heard when I played it in the car a while back. I was so proud of her. :supz:

Yay Mama Spumony! I know that feeling. It's great. It makes me so proud to know I'm bringing up my parents properly, too. It's hard work, but hey, that's what daughters are for, right?

I like that part too and his singing voice was very nice there. I think my fave parts of that scene are when Jemaine says "I thought your dad was a sheep lawyer." :roll2:

and "put a woman in front of a weaving machine and watch her go." :lol:

I remember reading that this season would have a more fantastical feel so perhaps that's what this new look is about, that odd, washed out, not quite real look.

Those Femindent suits are painted on right? How do you paint over Jemaine's chest hair? :hrm:

After Greg Proops says he particularly liked one of them, I love how in unison they both say, "Oh, thank you." :lol:

Is that Andrea Rosen playing his assistant? I love her work in the episode. Another example of good casting of the supporting roles. "It was written for women, by women." :roll2:

My favorite line -- the guys are returning the cushion to the library, Jemaine says his father is a women's rights activist.
B: Not your mom?
J: No, Dad would never allow it.

I had to rewind it to catch the whole exchange. Lovely.

And I still chuckle when I think about library gigs. All the shushing that must go on.

Also, I really miss the orca from the title sequence.
