... it's good to see it in writing :)

Only a couple more months of having to stay away from the spoiler threads! :bang:
That's the conclusion that I've come to, but...

Hmmmm well I am trying to confirm it but it may be the broadcast date for the BBC airing has been pushed back.

The DVD release was set for June, has now gone back to August 3. BBC have pushed the broadcast date back is why apparently.

As soon as I hear anything I'll post and let you know.

Hoping I am wrong and its airing soon

^ Oh no, I hope they don't push it back! I've seen it online but still I'm really looking forward to watching it on TV next month. I was wondering why the DVD release was so late but then I thought maybe it was just so that it was released around the same time as the US (isn't released the day after in the US or something like that?).

I don't know if anyone here listens to the Adam & Joe radio show on BBC 6, but Adam is a fan of the Conchords and occasionally references them. On last weeks show a guy from the BBC emailed in to say he was involved in currently "preparing" the show to be shown on the BBC.

I thought this was interesting...not knowing anything about the workings of television I assumed the BBC would get some tapes from HBO and just pop them on TV! I didn't realise they had their own stuff to do to it.

They usually run press stuff, website content, promote it via websites etc, press kits etc. I got the works last time round (first 6 epsiodes on DVD to review!). Not sure if that will happen again. Hope so.

I'll email my contacts over at the Beeb and see if I get any joy about an air date.

Hehe. That would have made either Hulk film much better.

BBC Four is generally pretty good, I think. They've given Charlie Brooker another show anyway :D

Yes things may get nasty if the BBC delay broadcasting the second season of FotC ;)
Charlie Brooker is brilliant! I watched his show last night and I admire the way he gets so many things spot on!

At flupping last. I was getting ready to do a drive-by of Broadcasting House. Or Mark Thompson was going to get a shedload of dung through his mail slot. I should probably make a few telephone calls now to, ah, ensure alternate arrangements. Maybe Anne Widdicombe needs some fertilliser by post.

OH MY!

SHE'S BACK!

Or she will be, in a couple of weeks! DP, we have missed you SO MUCH. Honestly, it's just not right without you here. You have no idea how much it warms my heart to see you, even if you're just popping in for a mo. Please, please, please come back to us when the new season starts on BBC4 and tell us what you think of it all. There are so many things I want to talk to you about. Mainly involving saucy things about our curly-haired boy, but there's some other stuff in there, too. I think.

I am honestly so ridiculously excited to see you, I think I have to go run around the room flapping my arms like an aeroplane for a bit. What a wonderful present to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
