On the one hand obviously the thought of no new Conchords episodes is extremely sad (or, as Bret would say "really tirrible", complete with sad face )...
BUT I do think that the premise of the show, unless they start to mess with the formula, is fairly limited. And I for one don't want them to mess with the formula, because I think it's worked perfectly for them. I think it's great for a show to end on a high, while it's still fantastic. A lot of british comedies do this really well (The Office, 2 seasons, Spaced, 2 seasons), and unfortunately a lot of American shows tend to stay on as long as someone's watching, and get wrung dry. And then everyone complains that "it's not as good as it used to be" and the whole thing turns sour
Also, I am of the opinion that the last episode, "Evicted" was an utterly perfect finale for the show. And not just because of the end, the whole episode. I'll go into more detail about this in the episode thread
But still, no more episodes...?

i just read in the april 20-may 3, 2009, TV guide....on page 16:
ask keck - jonas bros special...(....while on the road, the bros will have plenty of time to catch up on their fave shows. here's what kev, nick & joe are dying to know...)
this was asked by joe jonas....
Q: "Flight of the Conchords is such a genius show. Will there be a third season?"
A: Conchords star Jemaine Clement says they're currently considering signing on for a third season with HBO. "The fact that it's Joe Jonas' favorite show will be taken into consideration," Jemaine says. "When we created the show, the Jonas Brothers were out target demographic." The Conchords' North American tour goes through May 25, and their second album drops in early summer.
i heart jemaine. more than life itself.
