I'm not missing much, but I'd love to know what they're mumbling sometimes. Like when Jemaine wakes up Bret and he karate chops the air, is it gibberish, or is he really saying something??

Yes he says something like

Lol, yep- remember Dave had told him that story of a rapper holding a guy's penis and chopping off his body....so all that was left was a penis, lol. Poor Bret had a nightmare!

I haven't used CC....just go back and rewatch over and over with the sound up.....til one of us figures it out! :D Much more fun than CC.

Yeah I tried CC on the outtakes and like Nancy mine won't do it either. SO I just keep going over and over it. And I stand very close to my tv.. I don't know why I do this but I somehow think it helps.

Bret says: Please don't chop off my penis :rolls:

That's weird..I'm able to enable subtitles for all of it :hrm: Have you tried watching it on your computer? Because when I watch it on my laptop I right-click and enable subtitles even for the extras :dunno: Maybe it's because mine is region 2 :hrm:
Feel free to ask for anything you're not getting and I'll tell you what the subtitles say.which, again..may not be accurate.
But if you did I'd hold you tight / Into every single night
And we'd fall asleep together / And we'd wake up in the sunlight
Well, maybe I'm a dreamer / But maybe one day you'll see / That dreams are...

I was curious as to how Season 2 did on the sales charts during the week of it's release, so I conducted a lil' Internet search. According to Rentrak, Flight of the Conchords Season 2 debuted at #10 on the DVD sales chart! :supz: Its #1 in my book, but #10 ain't bad.

I can't post the link, because I'm using my phone at the moment. Just go to rentrak.com, and choose DVD sales instead of the Top Box Office chart, and you'll get the Top 10 from the week of August 2-8. Yay!

Currently re-watching season 2 with my roommates/friends (a few of which have never seen season 2). Loving it!! We watched the deleted scenes and episode 1 today. And I also really love "creating" new fans of the show :)

I have a confession. I feel guilty for thinking this much less telling other folks but I think you all will get where I am coming from. I was at an Urban Outfitters in a Chicago suburb yesterday and when I saw they were selling S2 DVDs up at the registers where teenage girls just out the Hannah Montana squealing phase were buying multiple t-shirts with '80s cartoons characters printed on them (but so they look faded) for $24.99 and cutesy key caps of plastic for $6.00 there was a part of me that was kinda bummed out. I keep reminding myself this is a new potential audience for the guys yet struggle with the part of me that thinks "they just better appreciate it, dammit!"

Eh, maybe I was just jealous I could not buy some cool t-shirts. :?

I was just shopping at Amazon and couldn't believe what I saw!!

if you haven't bought S2 yet or you'd like to give it to some lucky person on your gift list- it's just $8.99 right now! I don't know if it's just a US thing or a Black Friday deal or what.....but $8.99????

I know Amazon and WalMart had a price war over books....maybe DVD's now too?

Anyway, it's a great deal and of course, if you buy $25 you'll get free shipping...(on Amazon stuff, of course...)

Ya, I heard about that last week Laura! I wonder why the price got lowered so much...

This weekend Target has S1 and S2 for $8.99 each-yeish! They also have The Office and House for $12.99 each (they are usually between $30 and $45 USD each!).
