:prayer: THANK YOU SHERRY!!
I've been having a horrible day and this actually made me smile. Thank you again!!

Of course, it looks like Rhys is stealing scenes again. (looks like him hitting the lamp post) Can't wait.

And yes, I do like Nick Frost movies that he does with Simon Pegg.
Why don't you accept me as your God!?

im sorry to be so negative but i wasted £6 on this film last night and it is just awful... rhys is doing all he can to be funny, but when the script is so bad its just impossible, same goes for chris odowd nick frost bill nighy and all the other wicked actors in it that should be funny but arent. and the "twatt" joke is so pathetic. i hated this film because it should have been brilliant. an interesting plot, interesting characters, a good soundtrack and backbone, and they just threw it all away to make some unoffensive happy little middle class idiot film for people that think the have to laugh because smooth radio said so. oh and as for the bit at the end when one character nearlly drowns trying to save his beloved record collection (not a funny scene). the entire cinema erupted into laughter! why are people such idiots!? i felt like king of the dicks after walking out of that film. king of the dicks.

I don't know. Different people, different viewpoints.

I've read good, ok and not so good reviews. From fans and journos alike.

It looks like the title has been changed to Pirate Radio. I guess it won't be in U.S. theaters until mid-November.

This is current trailer from Focus Features : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRh1-cyWfGQ

I saw this in NZ back in April and I liked it. The ending was kinda eh for me, but for the most part it was pretty funny and the soundtrack is awesome. I was actually listening to it earlier today.

I saw it at the cinemas when it first came out in April (and I wasn't even a dedicated FOTC fan at that point). I loved it - hilarious. I thought it was spectacular, and the soundtrack is amazing (I bought it like right after I saw the movie).

Intially, I read a super fantastic review of it which made me go 'Yep - definitely going to see this' (coz the reviewer is usually pretty harsh), but after I saw the film I saw that it got some pretty awful reviews too. Some journalists panned it. :hrm:

I remember really enjoying it, even though it did run a bit long. I've been meaning to buy the DVD to see if I'll still like it as much at home. I find that nearly every movie is enjoyable at the cinemas (besides the massive flops). But I thought Rhys was amazingly funny.

Wow, the reviews are very mixed. This is a must see for me, mostly because of my love for the actors. Nighy, Odowd, and of course Rhys. They are enough for me to spend some chips.
