I'm ready for it to be out in the theaters here. I'd like to see it again.

So is anyone else going to see The Boat That Rocked (or as it is now called Pirate Radio) this weekend? I want to go and see it to see if they changed anything besides the title from the last time I saw it in April. :D

I'd like to go see this myself. Probably not this weekend, though.

I saw this back in April and really enjoyed myself. It wasn't perfect, it had its flaws, but it was a quirky, witty little film that I'd certainly add to my collection (and have). Some of the humour is a little hit and miss, the kind that you'll either love it or hate it, but as a whole I think it has something for everyone and the soundtrack is definitely the backbone to the film. Really brilliant.

It gets a thumbs up from me. :D

I didn't know they changed the title, though.

I heard an interview on NPR with the director of this movie this weekend. I will probably see it, maybe wait for video or see it in a matinee...Go Rhys! I loved him in Yes Man. I hope he gets more roles in American films.

I saw it on Saturday and they cut a few scenes out that I remember from the last time I saw it. Nothing important. One scene was where a bunch of radio contest winners were running wild on the ship, another was a musical montage of the stag party for Simon which I was actually sad that it got cut, and the other bit was when Simon did this fantastic lip sync to a song called Stay with Me Baby. It was hilarious and kinda sad all at the same time. Maybe those parts will be included in the deleted scenes on the dvd.

Just got back from seeing it and it had a great time! The soundtrack is fantastic and it was overall entertaining; a lot of familiar faces from "Love Actually" which was fun.
