Just from the little bit she did on The Daily Show she showed she has a lot more to offer. I agree - I'd like to see her do a full act.

BTW, TV, I like your new avatar - very pretty color blue. :D

I just find the Daily Show very....awkward....and I never know if it's supposed to be or what. Apparently Jon S really likes Kristen so I'm sure she'll stick around. Whether the audience likes her is something I'm never quite sure about. She's great and she's adorable. I think I like her best as Mel though. I saw her do stand up once and it's different, perhaps an acquired taste. Not laugh out loud funny, but good.

I actually kind of love her on The Daily Show. I watch both TDS and TCR (The Colbert Report) every day that they're on and I think she and Jon work really well off of each other. I think the audience still needs to warm up to her. For the longest time, Sam Bee has been the only woman correspondent so people need to get used to Kristen and her unique style of humour. But I think she's doing great so far!

Kristen has made the Edinburgh Fringe comedy shortlist! The guys made this shortlist back in 2003 (called the Perrier awards then) and Demetri Martin was the eventual winner then.

Read about it here

She's playing at Comix this Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $20

Weird they left out that she's in FOTC in the bio blurb but they mentioned that she has been on L&O:SVU. I wonder if she played some kind of stalker in that also.

I remember seeing that ep and having an "OMG!" moment. lol! Upon explanation, mom just rolled her eyes... lol! I'm pretty sure she was *not* a stalker though...

I wonder how her show would be, I don't know if I'm into really weird comedy.

I saw her at Comix last year. If you want my honest opinion she was just okay.

I really like her work on the HBO show. I think she's a good comedic actress. But I'd like to see her do a little more than a few seconds on The Daily Show before I see her act.

I love her as Mel - she's beyond perfect - which was why I was a bit disappointed with her own act. Clips of her act are on youtube if you're interested.

I love her as Mel because she seems to be like all of us mushed together into a (very accurate) super-fan.

Kristen is in the latest issue of Bust magazine, with Sarah Silverman on the cover. It may not be on the newsstands quite yet.
