If you haven't picked up the May issue of Geek, the article is online:

Nice article. More photos by Amelia Handscomb.

And both their names are spelled correctly... even Bret's! ;) Hehehe!

Thanks for posting, Dandy - quite a nice article.

I live about an hour away from Concord, Ma. There's also Concord, NH...how about "The Conchords play the Concords"?

That was a good interview. It didn't do the normal 'lets tell everybody what they already know' stuff.

The Article wrote:“We want to play this town called Concord in Massachusetts,” says McKenzie. “We’re definitely going to play there in the summer. You can see the headlines already. They write themselves.”

Someone tell them about Concord, California! I would love a show within ten minutes of my house.

I liked the article, thanks for sharing.

Well, that's three towns named Concord - come on, there must be tons more. Is there a Concord in your area?

Sweet article, thanks for posting it dandy lyons

We're representing here in Illinois.....we have a city named
Concord downstate between Chicago and St. Louis

Now they must do a college tour, because in addition to Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois there are Concordia Colleges in Alabama,Minnesota,Nebraska,Michigan,Texas,Wisconsin,California

And lastly with such a large tour there would need to be corporate sponsorship by.......
Used car dealerships across America featuring the 1993 through 2004 Chrysler Concorde

Okay, we have the locales and the sponsor, now all we need are the guys and some show dates! :D

I read the bpm article before this one and wow what a contrast. Now this article is much more fluid, respectful and correct. I'm not a journalist at all, but I know what I like and I like that. Thanks for posting it.

Wouldn't it be lovely to see a tour for whatthefolk groupies only? We'd sell the venues out. Since Bret and Jemaine always claim its not about the money, its about the fun, we'd know how to tap into that for them!

I love this idea! Has anyone got a cat or a ferret? I'd be more than willing to make some little glasses for the cat.

*waves hand frantically*

I have a cat! His name is Moose Cat, but his rapping name is Moose Moose Kitty. (say "my name is moose moose kitty" to the tune of "vanilla ice ice baby" and you'll know where he got the inspiration")

He's quite a laid-back cat, and a very attractive face ... sort of like Jemaine!

You make the glasses, I'll make him wear them, and we're done!!

something I don't know

"like at Tracy and Kipper's"? I don't know what you mean, but I'm interested in knowing! :D

I believe that's from the BBC series.

I have three cats: one black and white (one ear black, one ear white, one eye black, one eye white!), a huge orange one, and a grey one. I think the black and white would be most amenable to wearing glasses. If I had good pictures of them, I'd post them on the Pets site, and maybe we could have a "Jemaine Cat"contest over there as well!!

And someday I'll post on the pets site about my shih tzu who was named Moose. :) Nice to know the name lives on.

Tracey and Kipper were a couple on the BBC radio show that the guys did. They were the "fan base". They won the prize of fixing dinner for the guys (like Mel did on the tv show), and when the guys got there Jemaine started sneezing because he's allergic to cats. Tracey says, "Oh, Jemaine's allergic to Jemaine". Then she tells them they have a ferret named Bret. Bret asks if they always make Jemaine the cat wear the glasses.
I could go on, but you should really get the radio show - it's truly hysterical.
