SW and Laura, ballet and "the wriggler" dont really compare....lol...I still dont think its really great, but the wriggler and booty slammer are quite entertaining!

isnt it hilarious?...Wasnt it Jemaine who said in an interview once that R kelly is the artist that made him laugh (unintentionally) the most?....i have to agree...The song Ignition is right up there too!

Then I agree with Jemaine about seeing the unintentional humor in it. In fact, I would think the hilarity would seem glaringly obvious to ....well...anyone....

sadly, its not obvious to EVERYONE...but these guys (The Friars of the University of Michigan Men's Glee Club) saw it and wanted to do their own version.

As much as I adore Bret and his moves (CCTV, Boom, and Angry Dance especially), I have to admit that I find Jemaine's dancing a bit more...um...sensual, to say the least. I first took notice of their different styles when I saw the Season 1 DVD menu. I thought to myself, Bret dances like he's in a Bollywood movie, and Jemaine dances like Ricky Martin! :lol:

Ok maybe not exactly, but Bret does seem to make use of his long limbs when he dances, whereas Jemaine uses his shoulders and hips to get down with his bad self.

Oh my. I just watched that video. It's almost as funny as the Conchords version! I find it hard to believe that wasn't supposed to be at least a little funny. *wipes tear of laughter from eye*

Me too. And I watched some of "Trapped in the Closet" and was almost in tears. "Oh shiiiiit..." I'd only seen the South Park sendup before and thought they'd just made the whole thing up but it's actually a song! :rotfl:
