Fans of Flight of the Conchords are invited to design an original tour poster (“Poster”) for the band. To enter the HBO “Really Arty: A Flight of the Conchords Poster Search” (the “Contest”), beginning 12:01 PM ET on 1/14/09, visit http://www.conchordswiki.hbo.com (the “Contest Site”) and follow the on-screen directions to join the Flight of the Conchords WIKI (there is no fee), and upload your Poster via the Contest Site. Uploaded Posters must comply with the file format specifications and submission instructions indicated on the Contest Site. Sponsor grants you permission to use the Flight of the Conchords artwork, photographs and title treatment made available on the Contest Site, solely for the purpose of incorporating such materials in your Poster. Entries must be received by 11:59AM ET on 2/20/09.

Eligibility: Open only to residents of the 50 United States and Washington D.C., who are 18 years of age or older (residents of Alabama and Nebraska must be 19 years or older, and residents of Mississippi must be 21 years or older) at time of entry.

Oh, what a fantastic idea! I wish I were an arty type, but depressingly, a narcoleptic chimpanzee could wield a crayon more skillfully than I. The girl can cook, she she sure as hell can't draw.

So sad for arty types in Canuckistan, Dandy! I think you should write HBO a rude letter with lots of filthy words in it, just to let them know how you feel about their stupid-ass rules.

I'm not arty in the traditional way... I can colour just great so crayons and markers are my friends, but I can't draw... Straight lines and circles and such elude me... But I can be good with scissors... Maybe a mosaic or something... :hrm:

It is, in fact, Pippo as Albi. That was his halloween costume for a couple of years running. My boyfriend was the one who found the costume and suggested it. Just one of the many reasons I love him. ;)

I am really enjoying looking at the submissions so far. They range from the sublime to the ridiculous.

The "no third party" rule makes it harder to create the images.
