Hey Turnip, look, it's the brown jacket! :D

So, we probably won't get to see any of the student set, looks like... at least, I kinda hope not, even though I want to... you all know what I mean. I've got mixed feelings, I've got mixed feelings... :D

Too bad the sound on the Youtube clip is so bad... I couldn't hear very much of what they were saying. Loved the cello, though, although it was a bit loud at times. I hope someone out there is working on improving the sound quality of camera phones, lol.

There is more:

Sexy Lady (listed as Brahbrah):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGn7QRQvmrs

Its REALLY good live! It sounds different, but great. Its the first time I have heard a new song from season two. Adorable moments- the girl filming lets out a little ghasp when they start playing it... And Jemaine going "Oh, we haven't figured out the end".

Albi:

Haven't watched this one yet....

YAY!

Things I adore:
- Jemaine's new look. So cute, and great shirt too.

- Him doing the Maori hongi with his old teacher.

- The super excited cool Maori welcome they got as they marched into the gym.

- The fact that they didn't let film crews into the daytime school-only gig. They wanted it just for the students.

- You tube videos. More please.

- An the fact that they even did this. They didn't have to, but I would not have expected anything less.

Things I am not too sure about:
- The cello. I found it too loud, although it would be a lot better if it didn't overpower the boys' singing.

Things I don't like:
- The fact that in a few days the Conchords will be returning to North America and I am in the middle of Africa missing their live shows. Well, actually I will be in Asia for a few weeks come Saturday... I actually think I planned the trip to compete with my friends that are going when they say "I went to see FOTC". I can respond with "I went to South East Asia", but we all know, they still win that battle.

My joy at the thought of potential youtube goodies from Makoura is only matched by my joy at seeing the LOVELY JEMAINE GIF that I have been DYING to see ever since I saw the On Air doc, right there in Carol's sig.

Agreed mockingbird. You and I are thinking much alike today! That could have been one of my, if not THE, favourite scene of the On Air doc. How amazingly adorable and sexy is a scruffy kiwi lying on the floor playing guitar? Makes a girl weak in the knees!

Brill, thanks for posting the YouTube videos. I'm feeling Jemaine's new look. Ooh the use of the cello is different! I agree, 'Sexy Lady' sounds great live :D

I think it bodes well for their US tour using an instrument like the cello. If they go the path of their other backing support it sounds gorgeous with the arrangements they do.

I also loved being able to just hear people laugh. No shouting out or singing along. Just letting the guys do their thing pretty much.
