Awesome!  I can't top those.....

When Jemaine freestyles
It's usually just random
Stuff from in his head

Bret does most of rap
Is it 'cause he's got mad skills?
Bringing streets to life.

See? Yours actually sounded like raps.

There once was a Kiwi name Bret-y
who during his tour did get sweaty
he then caught a chill
became a bit ill
but his voice continued to sound velvety

Yours are awesome, Zebra! Keep up the good work :supz:

Not to absolutely spam the living daylights out of this thread, but you never know when the inspiration for a haiku will hit you:

Beneath the streetlight
Trying to earn cab fare home
Those pants are too tight

I can't believe how fantastic everybody's limericks are! I'm in awe :prayer: :prayer:

Obvious Observation:
Any verse could be written into a haiku, really.

Trying to earn cab fare
Nobody buys his body
He'll have to walk home

Scuba-diving suits
Each man's size with too-big thighs
Try a woman's suit

Uncle John and Ben
Such close friends, they dress alike
Perhaps not just "friends"?

Need a good insult?
Can't think of one right away?
Just flip 'em the bird

It's a rude gesture
No wings and only one leg
But it's still a bird

Inspiration fails me, but am loving the haiku and limericks that have appeared overnight...

Fridgeworthy indeed! Uncle Ben one very funny!

Fridgeworthy, hmm...now "the bird" sounds like leftovers from an almost-completely eaten roast chicken. "No wings and only one leg".
Somebody took the good parts.

And on the Uncle John/Ben haiku...that concept seems implied by the song; I just ran with it.

He's got hurt feelings:
Jemaine's casserole ignored
profiteroles dissed

Murray's wife left him
Who is ironing all his shirts
And matching his ties?

(maybe he does it himself)
