Jemaine has asked for the fans help in choosing which FOTC songs should be included in a new version of the Rock Band video game. So we're going to take a little poll.

Here's what I have in mind. Everyone gets to vote for the 3 FOTC songs that they think would be good choices for Rock Band. I will close the poll on Sunday night, tally up all our votes, and email our top 3 recommendations to Bret and Jemaine via their myspace.

Campaigning and discussion is welcome but just make sure you make your official votes obvious to me so I can add them up properly. Happy voting!! :supz:

Thanks, Peaches! So far I'm thinking Demon Woman and Hotties (a long shot I know but its my all time favorite fotc song). Still trying to figure out my 3rd choice...hmmm maybe Ladies of the World or Pencils in the Wind. Decisions decisions. :hrm:

Don't forget, everyone, it doesn't have to be a song from the HBO show. Any fotc song is fair game.

Demon Woman would be a good one. I do like Ladies of the World and maybe Pencils in the Wind. That one would be fun to sing. Well, they all would be fun to sing. Too bad I've never played Rock Band before. It would be easier to pick songs if I've actually played the game.

Thanks Red for starting the poll!

I agree with Demon Woman

I need to think of the last two.
But Hotties would be awesome! :D

Editing my post to complete my vote:

1) Demon Woman
2) Ladies of the world
3) Bowie

8)

-Ladies of the World
-Issues
-Bowie - because then you get to pretend to be FOTC pretending to be Bowie, it's a two-for-one situation. ;)

So many I love are Omnichord or keyboard-heavy...... :( not enough guitar. Hurt Feelings is great on the bass and drums but lots of awesome omnichord and mini-piano and not much (if any) guitar.
Maybe they'll re-record them for Rock Star....?

Too bad it absolutley won't include Mutha Uckas, lol...

1. Ladies of the World- perfect! :)
2. Business Time
3. Demon Woman

I'll have to give the songs a listen and find out which ones have the most guitar/bass/drum before I post my selections :)

That's what I've been doing....lots of them are shockingly without drums or lead guitar....which is why I wondered if they'll do re-recordings especially for RB. :hrm:

I doubt it - they usually use original tracks for RB. And I'm not completely shocked that a lot don't have drums or a "lead" guitar - since it's just 2 guys with acoustic guitars (and the occasional rockenspiel/omnichord). But there are some...

I'm pretty sure Rock Band does re-record the songs so that they fit their 4 part system. I've only played it a couple of times though so I'm not an expert.

My official votes are:

Demon Woman
Hotties
Ladies of the World
