Karen (4everconchordsfan) has a really good idea to maybe rent a big enough place during our stay for all the traveling WTFers and we could just split the cost. We could pick a central location in the UK and just travel to different gigs.

Just better hope that none of you are sleep gropers. :D

Public transportation in London? Overall it's quite good but you have to keep an ear out for announcements because things may be running smoothly and then all of a sudden there may be delays because of 'signal failures' and stuff like that. Bus routes are alright but depending on when and where you're travelling cos traffic can be a problem. Weekends might be pretty tricky to get around since some tube lines close for engineering works. But those are just the down sides, it's fine most of the time and London can be pretty easy to get around :)

Renting out a place in central London sounds like a good plan and should save money if you all split it.

I'm itching for more news now on when and where they are playing so things can be planned out properly ;)

Ooh venues in London....I would love it if they played the Bloomsbury theatre (like Rhys recently did) since it's nice and intimate. They could do the IndigO2 at the O2 which holds a max of 2,500 I think but they don't have to use up the whole arena. The O2 arena itself would be way too big.

oooo i love bloomsbury theatre, i saw tim minchin there & it was ace! plus they have people selling ice creams in the interval, & i like ice cream!

dunno if they'd do o2 really..if its a big tour then yeah, or maybe wembley arena or something, but id like them to stick to smaller ones really.

Haha, didn't Bret and Jemaine support Dan and the Panda up in York in their radio show? That would be a great place for you, Panda ;)

'Tends to snow'? It rarely snows, this year was just freakish. Although what with global warming, who knows?

Jan-April is very cold. And a word of advice, if they tour in Aberdeen in January DO NOT GO! It is FREEZING.

Jan and Feb can be generally quite cold. This year we had the heaviest snowfall for 20 years but that was rare and who knows, British weather can be quite unpredictable. It could be sunny one minute and then pouring down with rain the next ;)
