WTF! in "New Zealand: A History in 100 Objects"

Postby Venus » Fri Mar 02, 2012 11:32 pm

Just wanted to share some interesting information, What The Folk! has recently been contacted by Anna who works for a NZ publisher and wants to use the image below which was originally posted on the WTF! site here for an upcoming publication. According to Anna, "the image is going to be used in a book about various objects from New Zealand’s history – from everyday objects, to artworks, to historical artefacts." So the pic below is going "to illustrate some text about the Flight of the Conchords TV show and their success overseas, and also their devoted fan following!" The working title of the book is "New Zealand: A History in 100 Objects" and it's due to be published in October. :D

Cool beans! I'm going to keep my eye out for it once it's published.
James Bobin: “It’s like a five-year-old and a three-year-old. Jemaine’s the five-year-old, and Bret’s the three-year-old. They’re both wrong, but the five-year-old thinks he’s right.”
