2 shirts, a vest, and a coat? (Or is that the zip-out lining of his coat??) It must have been pretty cold that day, eh Bret?

Very nice- now I want close-ups of what they wrote to him... :P

:birthday:   Happy Birthday to the Oscar award-winning ,Bret McKenzie ONZM! :supz: :yay: :boogie:

Aww, I love that little paragraph! Thanks for sharing, Suzy. :D

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actor/comedian/musician Bret McKenzie (1976) shares your birthday today. You are a visionary with a childlike view of the world who is constantly looking for ways to make your dreams come true. You are fun-loving, energetic and, above all, a truth seeker. Despite your innocent demeanor, you know how to make money! In the year ahead, you will work hard to build or construct something that is important to you. Your rewards will soon follow.

Sure they're not just describing Bret? Very cool though. 8)

I guess I'm in the minority...maybe it's the color? Or the paint itself making it look plastic and gaudy to me... :worry:

I don't like flashy cars either...I like the classics restored to original...not with spoilers and chrome everything and big Hemis and fancy seats and radios, etc...just classic- the way they looked when made. :) I'm boring. :P Give me a beautiful baby-grand piano with Bret or Tim Minchin sitting at its bench. :)

Agreed, but that's part of what I like about it. It's kind of ugly-pretty.

I was admiring the intricate work, thinking it was all hand-carved - but now thinking it might be plastic, hmmm. :hrm:

It looks as though it's been repainted a bajillion times. Plastic, huh? The thought of it being chintzy never occurred to me.
:puzzled:

Did some digging - it looks to be a prettier red in this clip -it's actually a repainted Steinway that is carved:

I didn't mean it was plastic...just that the paint makes it look like it is. :P

i still think it looks gaudy. Yuk. But it sounds great and that's what matters.
