Is there another link by any chance for the interview? I'm only getting a black screen when I click it.

I would be over the moon if they played SXSW!! I put in my request for that week off from work and as soon as it's approved I'll be booking my flight tickets :supz:

Cannae wait man :D

Mike Fab has a debut solo album. :supz:  :yay:

http://www.amplifier.co.nz/release/64358/melodies.html?full=1

(the cd &/or mp3's are available, just click on the link)

This debut solo release Melodies of Lord Echo (aka. Mike Fabulous), is a roaring romp through his crazy world of sound; a magical, meandering journey through Afro-disco, Soul Reggae, Latin boogie and Ethio-Jazz.

Those familiar with Echo's prodigious studio wizardry will be pleased to discover that this album contains his finest work to date. Never before has Echo combined with such panache, his penchant for heavy rhythms, along with his uncanny knack for subtle song-sculpting.

On Melodies Echo is joined by a plethora of notable colleagues from every Wellington band you can imagine, but this time it's all about Echo! His remarkable talents are everywhere in abundance. The studio boffin has put down his soldering iron and picked up his tambourine in order to create a mighty album of towering tunes!

My favorite track is 'Thinking of You', love them all though.
Rhythm 77 is really good.

I hope Loop will upload stuff we've never seen. Oh well, any excuse to watch The Black Seeds is fine by me. Aren't they young and adorable?

Cool video. I like the song. Such bad attitudes. I'll bet they had a blast making it...destroying everything.

I would love to see the video for "Fire". All I've seen so far are the 5 or so seconds of it in the Figwit doc.
