So I would guess this is the start of the press blitz before the Awards. I adore Conan, and I would guess he'd have a good time with Bret, since he's also a musician. :rock:

Not a bad one, either - I saw his road show while he was waiting to get back on the air on TBS, and he played with the Dropkick Murphys. :thumb:

I've never seen the Conan O'Brien show but you can bet I'll be watching on Monday. I hope Bret runs the gamut of late night!

On the East Coast, it's on at 11pm on TBS. I used to watch it, but I've been watching Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. The live aspect intrigues me. :dunno:

I'm putting this on my calendar in BIG letters. :nod:

I see that Conan films in Los Angeles. Looks like there are no tickets available for the studio audience according to his website, though they give out a number of standby tickets daily if anyone is interested and available. info here

Me too. I see they've updated that link to include this blurb next to his photo,

"Bret McKenzie wrote all of the songs from "The Muppets" and now he's nominated for an Oscar!
He's pretty much our favorite import from New Zealand since Frodo Baggins."

Maybe Conan will remember Bret from when the Conchords were on back in 2005.

My dvr is set. I'm hoping for lots of strong, coarse and intensely suggestive dialogue. :horny:

Guaranteed he'll be on second. They pretty much go in the order they're named. So after Conan's monologue and maybe a skit or another bit, Kristin Bell will be on first, then Bret, then whoever the third guest is. So he'll probably be on just before or just after the halfway point.

It sure would be neat if he got to go to the piano and sing. :sing:
