Wishful thinking I guess. :)

In Shannon Hale's latest blog (here if you're interested) she does a bit of a Q & A. A few interesting tidbits:

"Is the movie similar to the book?"

It is very similar to the book. There are changes, of course....I feel great about the changes. Nothing majorly important to me in the book was cut out of the screenplay, and we added lots of bits that I'm very happy with. I hope you will be too!

Hopefully the shirtless Martin scene and the scene LauraK aptly named "the holding-her-against-the-door-whilst-her-legs-are-wrapped-around-him scene" are included in those scenes dubbed 'majorly important' to SH.

End of week 5 on the Austenland movie set. I can scarcely believe it. 7 weeks seemed so long. Now that I've gotten over the hump, I feel as if there is barely any time left. Some of the regular cast members only work 2 days this week and then wrap.

I really hope a set photo of Bret surfaces before it's all over. It's been immensely gratifying to get so much info from the actors and the writer. Gotta love Twitter.

You must have had an inkling there a photo was in the public domain right at that moment because she only posted that pic about a minute before you posted that. ;)

That was kind of weird, wasn't it? If only the universe would so easily acquiesce to ALL of my desires. :purple:

This is SO good. Thanks, Venus! I hope we get to see him in his finery as well.

WOW....that was amazing. nonch, you must shout things like that more often. (Probably not a good idea to shout about what attentions your bush needs whilst in public or at work, though....so watch it.) ;)

Thank you, Venus! :D

I want this movie right now.

and I'm sorry, but this now has me imagining Jemaine in Regency clothing as well....I can't help it... :worry:

I hear their hoes are often quite dirty. Probably because they use them so often, to plant their seeds.

And just when it's getting good...it sounds like Bret's stint on Austenland is done. *sigh* I will really miss all the set prattle, pics and news. :|

Aww, sad to hear Bret's leaving the UK! I hope more pics and snippets of Bret whilst filming are released in the weeks and months to come.

Some screen shots of JJ Field on the set as Mr. Nobley. I can't figure out where they got these. :dunno: A couple more here.
