Well, at least you've saved me from having to say it, Sherry. :)

Yeah, all in good fun, but not when you send it to the actor himself. Then it gets a little freaky.

I don't know what I'd think in Bret's situation. I think most of me would get a good laugh if the person presenting them seemed to be doing so in fun ... it's the wackos that would be serious about it all that would freak me out.

I'd consider buying them as a joke, but a joke for myself. Despite appearances, I'm not that much of a wacko!

Yesterday, I was going through all the fragrances I offer and realized I already have a Kiwi Fig fragrance. If that doesn't scream Figwit, I don't know what does! Plus, it's already one of my favorite scents! I think I might have to add some sort of Figwit line to the description of that one!

Kiwi Fig? Clandestine, perhaps? You were meant to discover FotC and Figwit! *theme song to Twilight Zone*
Definitely need to add a nod to Figwit! :D

Ummmm snippet of info. Reposting it here

I know I saw someone asking about this somewhere the other day. Its doubtful the docu will ever get a general DVD release. Copyright and legal woes appear to have tied it up.

I can't say I mind too much :doomed: It was all so long ago, its kind of like another lifetime and people that all happened to now. We've all moved on :)

Being only a relatively new Conchords fan, I only just found out that Bret was Figwit. It makes me laugh, as I did go through the LOTR screaming fangirl phase of my teenybopper life, and I do remember the phenomenon that was Figwit. I now enjoy The Conchords music...it's kind of like I've come full circle in a weird and twisted way...
"What a hilarious misunderstanding!"

I am always amused when people tell me they know who Figwit is or have heard of him. I'm surprised sometimes just how far the word went round the world. Cool though :)

Not a chance, Sherry!

In fact, the brother of one of the people who worked on it is going to e-mail me the flyer for the showing to share here! (a last.fm contact, in fact) 8)
