Bret's Birthday 2009

Postby ravenhpltc24 » Tue Jun 09, 2009 4:00 am

Alright WTFers, Bret's 33rd birthday is a mere 3 weeks away (the 29th). What shall we do? What is the best way to send him all of our birthday wishes? We must harness our creative juices in an effort to throw him the best virtual celebration yet. :hrm:
He's gonna wake up in a smoothie.

Ah yis, good thinking Raven! We need it to be spectacular. Unfortunately, I'm about the least creative person you can find. However, I will make it my mission to get the little bit of creative juices that I have flowing so that we can come up with something great.
So far all I can think of is some sort of intense birthday card...I know that's not very helpful, but it's a start. Hee hee, maybe we can put together a group of all of the haikus and limericks that have been floating around the boards and make some sort of poetry tribute

I plan to send him a text message using my mind.

"HPPY BRTHDY BRT. I M SNDNG THIS USNG MND"

Hopefully, my new super power will not wear off by then.

Funny thing is because of the time difference I lose June 29th this year. I'll be spending Bret's birthday on the flight to NZ!

We should send him lots of tea...he's going to need it once the baby is born. The wife is still prego, right?

Dr. Chevalier could probably help you retain that power, vmh. You just need to relaxate....

I feel a weird kinship toward Bret, as I am exactly two weeks older than he is, while Jemaine is exactly three weeks older than Mr. eejm. I'm sure this means something very profound, but I have yet to figure out exactly what.

Hmmm...I wonder if Dr. Chevalier makes house calls.

That sounds good, LauraK.

I trust everyone thought of "let's all mail ourselves to Bret in a very large box" idea and rejected it for logistical reasons?

Naturally
How about we just mail him an empty box? A big one that he can sit in while he watches TV......

I love the box idea. We could get one sending around, getting postmarks and stickers from around the world, then sent to him. Each one of us could open the box and say "happy birthday" into it, then when he opened it up, it would be like the "chorus of would be girlfriends" :yawinkle:
