I can't get enough of the promo pics for this film, so I'm posting again - cuz I'm sure it's here already but with 89 pages and counting, don't know where...

I just love their personal styles - and this is one of my favorite Jemaine ensembles. He's always so well put together! Even if he's the only one wearing the exact same outfit in the 3 pictures, he exudes a different reaction in each one. But in all he's timelessly cool! :boogie:

Maze wrote:This movie really does get under your skin. And with repeated viewings I love it more. Currently I cannot get this song out of my head. At first, I thought I was humming an fotc song..then I realized it was Age Pryor's "I don't want". Soundtrack is another reason why this is one of the most beautiful films ever made.

I don't want to settle down.
I don't want to settle down.
Do you? Do you? Do you?
..and I don't want to live my life
    imagining I'm in a movie.
Do you? Do you? Do you?

Ah, sometimes I feel it's such a shame I ever fell for you
Ah, since I'm with you it seems I'm seeing things more clearly
    Then I get here.

And I don't want to spend my time
Chasing rainbows 'round the country side
Playing tourist then the tour guide
    Pretending everything is fine
and I don't want to be alone
I don't want to be alone
    Do you?

Ah Sometimes I feel it's such a weight to have you by my side, cuz
Ah since I'm with you it seems that all my plans have fallen
    by the wayside

And I'd like nothing more than this
a winding path on which to wander
    time to question and consider
    and occasionally a kiss
I'd like nothing more than this.

Ah I love that song! I may have to look into getting the soundtrack. I don't know much about Age Pryor but I will deffo check out more of his music now.

Same, I totally don't know Age apart from WIUO. But this sweet melody shows I've been missing out on his talents. Haven't purchased the soundtrack yet, but indeed it would be a sound investment ...there isn't a stinker among the tracks. :D

The soudtrack got me hooked on the NZ music scene! I fell in love with The Phoenix Foundation. Samuel Flynn Scott is a genius!!! :P His side stuff is great also, Bunnies on Ponies. The soundtrack for EVS is packed full of his music via TPF and Luke Buda, who is also in TPF.

A whole new world opened up for me both comedy and musically, when I first saw the FOTC. They should get royalties to all things connected to them that are now getting big in US. The list is endless...

I love both. Watching the movie without commentary you get about 90% of the movie hearing Jem's lovely sixy voice. In the commentary you get sporatic flashes of his genius, how is a girl to choose? Both maybe.

Oh now ive got the itch...lets see what is on tonight, oh my its Rescue Me night & the fab & insane Denis Leary. Denis I love ya man but Jem wins every time. I will watch the 2nd showing of Rescue Me. Off to get my Eagle Vs Shark dvd. It so nice having a tv tuner on my desktop, I can multi task. That is when Jem is not onscreen of course.

Owning this DVD would be mighty dangerous for me...I already spend an almost unhealthy amount of time watching or exercising to the S1 or 2 DVD's. For now, I just have to keep loaning it from the library, whenever it's available.

When I was listening to the Jem commentary, there was a bit of chatter about Loren bearing some resemblance to Princess Diana (can you believe it's been 12 years -yesterday - since she passed away?). I never would have noticed that before but I guess if I look for a similarity in the face or expression, I see a bit of her in Lily. Anybody else see it?

Maze- what do you think made me late to work everyday for like a month! I would put it on in the morning and forget that I was supposed to be getting ready for work... :?

I love when this thread is updated :D

Don't you just wish you had the kinda, sweet, bashful but quite feisty personality like Lily? Especially when you're an ignorant loudmouth comme moi

You'll need to share the DVD with the folks at work - the ones you like, at least, tho hopefully they're all cool - as a team-building exercise. Then being on time won't ever be an issue.

Wanted to post this picture because I think it's so funny. Jemaine is adorable, even at his dorkiest. :heartbeat:

Yes!!!! The family portrait! Love it. :D The best photo is the one of, I believe, just Jarrod, Gordon and Dad. You know, the one where he looks exceedingly dorky? Still, there's something lovable about that guy.

I sent this movie back to Netflix a couple weeks ago in exchange for Tongan Ninja. My boyfriend and I are both missing EvS already. *sigh*

Oh, and I just saw this little video for the first time on youtube, about how Lily and Jarrod are "Bonded by the Mole."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuynWDiInuw

It's probably been posted before, but I'm sure you won't mind having another look at it. Too bad Jemaine is only in the last few seconds, but he looks pretty dreamy nonetheless.

It kind of looks like they're having a nose-picking fest though...
