Eagle vs Shark

AKA as HipHopapotamus, half of the Humourbeasts, Action Fighter, Dr Chevalier and Jarrod in Eagle vs Shark! Nuff said. You can write the rest!

Yeah, but I also think it's different in NY or LA... or Wellington.

Take Madison, for instance... very cool, liberal city with a great music/arts scene. Who's famous from here? Chris Farley. (See? Fertile ground for comedy.)

He actually crashed one of our parties in college, looking for drugs and girls. He found one at our party, the other at the party at the flat downstairs.

Good times. (Granted, he died three weeks later, but never mind that bit).

I was looking for a photo of Madison, and came across this one from 2004:

Apparently, we even have robot strikes here, too.

According to the Austin American-Statesman :

If you’ve been meaning to catch “Introducing the Dwights” or “Eagle vs Shark,” hurry to the Arbor. Thursday is the last night for those films. Attention “Flight of the Conchords” fans: “Eagle” stars the show’s Jermaine Clement.

Rassin frassin grrrrrr. I just found out that they did a screening of the film on July 18th over in Raleigh. Seems like it was a one-day-only thing, and I've totally missed it. Gah!

What's the heck's up with Miramax?? After all this time, it's still only at 20 screens?! Are they short on film stock?? :?

I think more people have seen this movie for free than have paid for it. Too bad...Miramax is just not the same without Harvey, that man could promote a movie.

It's coming to Tulsa on August 3 thru 9, during the Tulsa United Film Festival.:yay:

It was supposed to be here July 21 for one night. Then I accidentally made plans to be out of town that day. Weird how it all worked out for me. I don't miss the movie and now I have several chances to see it.

Well.. I have the bestest husband... we are going to drive 45 minutes tonight to go see Eagle vs. Shark near downtown Pittsburgh... I found out it isn't there after tonight (thursday).

He stopped working on his truck & we are gonna go :D

I could have gone by myself.. but I get the feeling there is a chance we might be the only two in the theatre.. so if I had gone by myself.. I might have felt a bit weird...

I'm so happy right now. I missed the Film Festival screenings, but it's being released in cinemas in about two weeks. Yay! And I might get to see it for free because of my awesome friend who works at the movies. Double yay!

About bloody time!

My local arthouse cinema (45 minutes drive away) in Exeter is showing it for a week from Friday 14 September. Ok, its a little way aways but if I enjoy it I can go back and watch it again before it leaves.

Chuffed I'll be getting to see it in a great lil cinema where I can drink a beer (if I drank) or a fresh coffee...

Yay for the independant cinemas! :cheer:

Lame.. I wanted to see this movie for a while.. but its not showing anywhere here in Toronto. There are however some posters of the movie posted in theatres, but not the date of showing.
