Does anyone know when he'll turn up in Austin? If I lived close, I'd head over there anyway and just get a drink.....he did say he likes to hang out there. :)

Very cool interview, DaMango- thanks! :)

Venus posted it actually.

Yeah, what Hot Jam and SW said. Enjoy your time if you do get to meet the great Doctor, and if he's in character, go along with it and have fun. :D
Can't wait to hear your stories!

Haha, I would LOVE if Austin were only a 3 hour drive for me.

Also - as a side note - I drove 4 hours to see FOTC so...3 isn't SO bad ;)

Chin up, chica! The drive will fly by before you know it! :D

I don't mind the drive so much, I just don't usually do it by myself. But I got my iPod all set up and will be listening to FOTC probably the whole way up there. And yes, I will be singing along. ;)

It'll be so worth it! Be careful driving. It might be a bit rainy and you'll want to bring a jacket. It's a little chilly in Austin right now(59 degrees). Of course it could be 100 degrees again by Friday. Who knows? :P

Edit: this all sounded a little motherly...sorry

Warning: Embarrassing confession ahead

When I'm in the car, I usually make a playlist of all the songs I can play on uke (with a few other of my overall favorite songs as fillers) and then play my air uke along with the song...as well as singing at the top of my lungs

Yeah, I was going to ask that. 59 degrees? And I thought it was cool today and it was like 75.

I beg for 75 degree days. The perfect day for me is like 72 with a light breeze. Everything else is too hot, everything else is too cold... 8) Though, I'd prefer too cold to too hot ... only so many layers you can take off...
