But, ... but, ... but ... what happened to Boris? I thought Jemaine's name was Boris in this. :dunno:
Oh, fish-like Lady
Lady-like Fish
I don't think so Bro, she's a Lady, Lady, Lady, Lady
No, no, she's a fish that's just a little bit

Boris = Yaz. They changed it. It might not even stick and they'll change it again. They haven't even started production yet.

I liked Boris better. But you're right, it could change many times before they start production.

Yaz just makes me think of that birth control pill.
and Boris is a little too Russian sounding.
I hope they come up with something better.

I wonder how concerned Jemaine is about being typecast. If that description is true, he might well be happy not to play quite the same character as he's been doing in some of his bigger films recently. He certainly can do more serious stuff. I admit I'd prefer to see him step away from over-the-top silly characters. It seems a bit too limiting, especially knowing he does subtle humor so well.

I thought about that too Indigo, the typecast thing...I believe Jemaine can do serious stuff, he has the face that can go from cute to scary, even creepy. ( in a good way, or not)

Oh yeah, I am not too keen on the Yaz name, Boris would be better, but..they probably must settle into a character type to settle into a name.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing a different side to Jemaine in this movie and I know he will certainly pull it off.

I totally agree Venus! I think playing an alien will be a bit of a different role for him that will both showcase and expand his talents so I'm prett excited for him. It seems like he is definitely making a name for himself at this point

You have to admit he's working with top A-List actors. In this one alone, his 3 co-stars have one Academy award and two nominations. Not too shabby.

OK. :halo:
So, I will be there visiting in Long Island Sept. 18-25. How might I get a chance to say hi to my old friend Jemaine? :yawinkle: :roll2:
No, seriously. :hrm: Any ideas? :thanks:

Well, Deirdre, here's one way:

Finding someone who's working on the movie might help with finding locations for shooting while you're around. I have a friend who works on feature films. I'll ask her if there's a method to finding out where they'll be filming.

That would be great Nancy. :thumb:

The funny thing is that I really don't have anything to say other than: 1. Hi, it's great to see you. 2. I am so happy you are doing so well in your career. 3. I hope you and your little family are doing well. 4. Say hi to Bret for me. And maybe if I was really brave I would tell him that I smile and feel happy whenever I see or hear about him or FoTC out in the world.

Then I suppose it would just be awkward. :hrm:
