Yes. I saw them in May in 2008, April & May in 2009 & May in 2010. It's interesting how that they chose very nearly the exact time frame for each tour. Also the 2009 & 2010 tours both ended on Memorial Day weekend.

No kidding! :D

Easter Sunday will be the 2 yr anniversary of when I saw them my 1 and only time and had the pleasure of meeting them- along with some wonderful WTFers- afterwards. *sigh* Time does fly.

So, do you guys think their next tour won't be for another year, or might they change things up and do it later this year? Personally, I think they'll wait a year because they'll want to get done what they're doing and have time to practice. Even though we do so love it when they mess up a song.

They may not go back to play in America for another year *sigh* BUT maybe there will be a DOWNUNDER SPRING TOUR later this year :yawinkle:

It really pains me to say this, but you might want to wander back to the movie topic or start a new thread. :D

It was awkward in a couple of spots but overall- best interview yet! The 2 anchors who love FOTC were a riot! If only they could have done the interview, lol! Her imitation of Jemaine sounded like a German, lol! But her singing- :thumb: And her love of the beard had me lol! She needs to come over here. :)

Jemaine may be on to something with the shrunken 3D glasses for 2 1/2 yr olds.....and I loved that he said Scotch tape rather than Cellotape! Pandering to us Ameericans, eh Jemaine? We appreciate it!

Someone really asked about the creative process of a TV show that's been off the air for 2 years? :?

I cringe watching all of these awkward interviews but the lady fan newscaster is awesome. She definitely should have been the one asking the questions.

Why do you think Leonard Nimoy had to write "I am Not Spock?"

That was hilarious and the reporter really handled herself well for not knowing him from Adam. He was suprisingly kind. And the newscasters just killed me. LOL!

Yes, that female news anchor was hilarious! If only she conducted the interview. Even though there were a few awkward moments, I thought that interview went surprisingly well for someone who didn't have a clue who Jemaine was but she still played along and Jemaine's responses had me giggling throughout.

I do wish a better FOTC related question was asked though since that question has been answered so many times before.

Hilarious interview
"I wouldn't be surprised if she has a beard next time" :roll2:
And yes, the question about the process of the TV show was useless and old...

 :thumb: I've been having fun replaying that bit as the answer to various questions, such as: "Jemaine, thanks so much for the lovely evening." "My pleasure, Jennifer." :waggle:

That interview was awesome. "Leave it... it's just a talking bird." And yeah that lady newscaster was so great! I wish she could have met him. :thumb:

Last Friday I sent a little email message to the news anchor Norma Holland and mentioned how proud we are of her rendition of Ladies of the World and the beard comment. :roll2: I also mentioned that we'd love her to stop by the website & forum for a look-see.

This morning I received this email reply :

Hi Karen,

Thanks so much for your kind words. We love Jemaine!! I love the website! We’ll be in touch…

Norma

Norma M. Holland
Morning Anchor/Reporter/Host, Many Voices, Many Visions
13WHAM News (ABC)

It appears that she has stopped by for a visit. It'll be really fun if she decides to join us at the forum.

4ever, awesome! I was going to suggest that to someone, or do it myself, but you took the lead! Excellent ! She sounds like a cool lady!
