Wait. Let me get this straight. Jemaine, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and Zach Galifinakis ALL IN ONE MOVIE??? This is going to be awesome. :supz:

edit: I just noticed Ron Livingston in there too. This is seriously like all of my nerdgirl fantasies combined.

Thanks for posting!!! Here's praying that they tour AFTER June 4th because that's when i'll finish my semester. My guess is that they will tour around August and hit the Fringe and some other summer music festivals.

Back on the film.. I can't wait to see it :D
But if you did I'd hold you tight / Into every single night
And we'd fall asleep together / And we'd wake up in the sunlight
Well, maybe I'm a dreamer / But maybe one day you'll see / That dreams are...

If they do tour in Aug then that will give me plenty of time to get my passport sorted. And as we all should know by now this tour should be scheduled around MY needs ;) plus, what was it they said they'd be taking the whole month of August off for...? :waggle:

Wow! This one sounds terrific- love all of these actors. :D Yeah, Jemaine's character could be either with that name, imo. He could be an pretentious exec or a pretentious schmuck, lol.

Thnaks for finding this, 4ecf!! So much to look forward to....

Bwahaha!

August would be perfect because then I wouldn't have to worry about the tour cutting into my summer classes or fall semester. And it gives me more time to plan and save up.

I kept thinking the premise of this movie sounded familiar, and as it turns out, it's actually a remake of a French film called Le Diner de cons, which I saw years ago. I actually don't remember that much about it, though.

This website has a write up about the script for this movie. It's pretty spoilery so read at your own risk!

It does give some details about the character that Jemaine plays, so if anyone really wants to know: Kieran is Paul Rudd's girlfriend's slimy boss, who he thinks she is having an affair with. :o

I can't wait for this to come out! :D

I knew I recognized the concept! (I haven't seen "Le diner de cons", I just nearly-rented it.)
If you don't know the answer, change the question.

I watched Le Diner de Cons last night and liked it. It was a small film very much reminiscent of a play. There are 2 main characters and a handful of others popping in and out. I imagine the remake to be a much bigger affair. I also expect them to entirely ruin it but that's just my hatred of Hollywood blockbuster mentality talking. :D I'm assuming that the character Jemaine plays is called Pascal Meneaux in the original. He is not seen in this film, he is only heard over the phone in one short scene. But he is referred to as a "two cent Romeo" and as a "deadly sex fiend" who "likes big boobs." :roll2:
