avaritsos wrote:a woman who volunteers w/ kate got a really funny reply from him. she told him that super bowl sunday was the one day of the year when you have to watch a sports event if you want to see your husband and said that his commercial was great because usually women have to sit thru commercials of half naked women carrying pizza or sitting ontop of cars and all the women at her super bowl part really whooped it up when he came on to get the guys jealous and he told her he was actually half naked but the naked part was under the table. cracked me up.

she also said that he told her that if she couldn't make it to austin, he and bret would most likely be playing nyc later on this year (it was one of the cities she mentioned to him in her email).

as for the article at foxsports - it's fox. they are worse than fools over there so the guy who wrote that article has to be an ignoramous.

cool that he made the front page of outback. i can't get either of the commercials to play on my windows media but its cool anyways.

I emailed the guys about this earlier this evening and already heard back! It took my Uncle 3 weeks to get back to me - but this was within hours. Stuff like that makes me love them all the more!! FOtC

Anyway here is what I got about NY:

"Sorry but we don't know when we will be playing in NY next. We probably
will some time but we don't know when yet. "

- I asked if they had any idea as to maybe what season - not dates - just if there is a prospect.........so maybe this summer, maybe 3 years from now :D

Very good then glad I got that all straightend out then. Just to clarify I'm not in any way saying that Jemaine is being crappy by not having any solid info. He validates that he is a "good on ya'" dude by just replying. I'm just being my usual smarty clown noodgy self. :P

In (darn!) homework mode:

1.) Thanks JP for the tip on saving the quicktime ADs! :prayer:

2.) I wish I was a shrimp

3.) Nicole, you rock for placing the ADs for for viewing/downloading :supz:

3 1/2.) I wish I was an Outback shrimp

4.) The lovely sloganizer was discovered by Ellen for the purpose of BE...and general fun. ;)

4 2/3.) I wish I was an Outback coconut shrimp

5.) I wrote Outback and said Jemaine Clement rocks. Good choice for their spokesperson.

5 3/4.) ummmm....:puzzled: I want to...go to Texas...or New Zealand. Eh, save time - just take me to the Conchords

6.) I would like to take this number to thank all those great people who had the nerve to write and congratulate Jemaine on a nice mullette. It brought much enjoyment to my sad, sad life.

7.) I wish I was Jemaine's boomerang :roll2:
