Naww, Bret looks like a little boy who's been told off!

My pic of the day, because I've been listening to the radio series lately during my commute, and I'm thinking this photo must be from back then. I really like Whambi's version of "Nearly a Woman" even though Jemaine thinks they ruined it.

Holy moly, Bret's hair is ginormous! He and Jem both look smokin' in this photo. I love how Rhys is always so smiley too

Rhys looks adorable and so does Jemaine.....Neil looks like I imagine he looked every time Brian called him... and Bret? Bret looks like he needs me to lead him to my chair, gently drape a cape round his shoulders, slowly wet down that mop of curls as I run my fingers through it, and give him a slow and precise...................haircut. Woo.....How I'd love to do that! You too, Jemaine! My scissors are always at the ready.

Second of all.... You would dare to cut off those curls???!?!?!?!! OK, maybe a quarter inch or so...but that's all.

Sorry nonch, I used to do roller sets on old ladies who had shorter hair than Bret does in that pic. I like him with shorter hair, it'll still curl up! Jemaine I like longer, yis......

Why? Well, because it has a warm breezy outdoors feel to it, and I'm suffering in the middle of a seemingly unending winter. Where I am, it is cold and gloomy, the wind is biting and cruel, and there is snow and ice everywhere. I miss the touch of the sun on my face, flowers, birdsong and not having to walk like a penguin whenever I step outside. Oh... back to the picture. I don't know what this cap is from, but it looks as if they just sat down in a park and pulled out the guitars spontaneously. Jem is still wearing his man-bag and they are sitting on their jackets. Maybe one of them was seized with a song idea or a melody and it had to be explored right then and there. I like to think it shows maybe a glimpse of the collaboration that rocks my world.

Isn't this from the original opening credits they did for the pilot? I think HBO changed it right before it aired in the US, or something like that. It is a lovely pic. I like seeing them out in the sunshine.

Really? That's kind of too bad, I like imagining it more as the spontaneous occurance nonch described. I like the way they're looking at each other's guitars with such serious expressions of concentration.

Nice picture, nonch. It's flipping cold and snowy here as well. Nobody penguin walks as badly as I do. I turn into a real old lady tippy toeing on the ice - I broke both of my ankles two winters in a row because of ice and snow, so I'm not a fan.

They've said that they based a lot of the little quirks in the show on real life, I wonder if Jemaine really does just mumble through the unwritten parts of the song.

I can imagine it now...
