Friends. Girly version!

Hello. I thought the best way to introduce myself and demonstrate how much I love the guys was by sharing this vid my friends and I made with you.

We had so much fun making it and were truly inspired to have a go by the guys having seen them in the UK this year.

What concert(s) did you attend? Did any of you meet the guys?

Hiya! Thanks for the lovely welcome! We made it as a leaving gift for 2 of the girls (in the vid) as they have gone travelling round the world for a year and it reflects our friendship so well!

Unfortunately we were miming with the instruments :oops:

although i play a little flute and my friend Kaz arranged all the music.

The 4 of us saw Jemaine and Bret at the NIA in Birmingham and were thrilled to be on the 2nd row! I have never laughed so much in my life!!
2 of us were lucky enough to bump into the guys as we came out the car park...we'd tried to go to the stage door but they went out a different one so it was pure luck! Got a couple of great pics with them.

Bret thought I said my name was 'Mel' when I introduced myself as 'Hels'. He looked so thrilled I wish I'd played along with it now!
I'll have to work out how to upload pics...although you can imagine how geeky we look in them because we were so thrilled!
I just watched The Simpsons episode online. They totally rocked it!!

Second row! and all of you together?!?!? That's fantastic! How exciting to travel all over for a year. The memories of making that video will last forever, I'm sure. Someone has some mad recording/editing skills! :prayer:

Uploading pics is mainly a matter of having them the right size, unless you have an online photo storage account like flickr or photobucket. (Can you tell I'm quite anxious to see? :eyelashes:

) Anything I can do to help, just ask.

That's how Jemaine started, with the mime guitar! If you ever decide to really learn the uke, it is quite simple and very rewarding! :nod:

Thank you very much for the link Venus! I'll go tell my tale there. It's so nice to share the story with like-minded people. I'm looking forward to finding my way around this forum and devouring the Conchordy goodness!
I hadn't thought about putting the vid on the Myspace page mohumbhai mania. Thanks. I hope I don't annoy people with it but it seems to have created a monster in me! I'm just so proud of it I want to share it around all over the place! :oops:
