I thought F on the ceiling was a response to 'let's take it higher,' so.....we'll do it on the ceiling- that's pretty high! Obviously 2 pretty dumb and shallow characters in that song, lol.

"You've been learning words..."
"From a word-book,"
"A dictionary?"
"Yeah, that's it, thanks..."

I've updated the Christchurch, Auckland 16th and Newcastle threads with F on the Ceiling. If there are any more videos of the song from other gigs, feel free to post them. Yeah, the video from this gig was the first clip of the song to be uploaded. I wasn't sure what to think of the song when I first heard it either since I was unsure of where the lyrics were going but it got better as the song went on and it is very catchy! That's how I interpret F on the Ceiling too, Laura. :)

Oh please, don't feel dumb! For quite a while in Bus Driver's Song, I thought Bret was saying "....flowing like the Womahonga River, which is so deadly and to your right...." instead of "incidentally."  :P

Oh there have been a couple times I haven't got the words right to a couple songs! Can't think of an example at the moment but I remember reading the lyrics and saying OOHH! That makes way more sense!
