She's So Hot...Boom! Lyrics (Explicit)

Postby Andria » Sun Oct 30, 2005 1:19 am

I got bored again...:D So I typed these out, too. Again, keep in mind that this is what I heard, it doesn't mean that is what the Guys actually said. Now Bret does swear once (at least openly) in this song - so don't read on if you have sensitive eyes...

“She’s So Hot…Boom!” by Flight of the Conchords
(HBO One Night Stand Performance)

Oh my god, she’s so hot
She’s so blooming hot, she’s like a curry
I gotta tell her how hot she is
But if I tell her how hot she is she’ll think I’m being sexist
She’s so hot, she’s making me sexist…b****

I think I need a little bit of drums
I need just a little bit of mandolin

People in the room doing Boom like it’s never been done
Bust a move it’s just the kick of a gun
In the Marquee in the bass is Booming
Someone’s smoking Boom in da back of da room
And it’s the first day of spring, the flowers are blooming
Drum Boom bass and the party is Booming
Boom ba Boom like a rocket taking off to da moon
Boom Boom go the bride and groom ahh

See ya shaking that Boom Boom
Who?
See ya looking at my Boom Boom
What?
You want some Boom Boom
It’s clear it’s Boom some Boom Boom ahh
Let me buy you a Boom Boom
When?
You order a fancy Boom
Who?
You like Boom, I like Boom
Enough small Boom lets Boom the Boom ahh

So we’re driving in a Boom Boom
Driving, back to your Boom ba Boom
And you turn out the Boom Boom
And we Boom Boom Boom ‘til the break of Boom
My boom is ringing it’s Big-Booms-Boom
Back from ten years in the Boom
And they said he got his Boom chopped off in the Boom
But the crazy Boom still wants to Boom, well
Sorry girl, I gotsta Boom
Give you a Boom in the afternoon and
Boom Boom baby, don’t forget you the most Boom Boom I ever met.
A Boom Boom

Who’s the Boom King?
Who’s the Boom King?

On Edit: I changed a few of the lyrics after the discussion below. :D

My boom is ringing it’s be-Booms-Boom
Back from tenures in the Boom

Thanks for plotting all of that out! No easy task. Tell me what you think about this: I always heard the above lyrics as...

"My boom is ringin', it's me Boom Boom,
Back from ten years in the Boom..."

Any thoughts? :que:

I take the lyrics to mean that he got a call from someone who was...somewhere for either a tenure (or ten years) and had his...boom...chopped off while there. It could be either. :D I just guessed at some of the lyrics. I don't know! *LOL* Anyone else have a guess?

I thought it was ten years in the boom. It seemed to me that he was in prison for ten years and that's where his boom was cut off. It works for me, but I'm always open to other interpretations.

According to the Close Captioning on this one (and it's pretty much what I was hearing, too), it goes
"My phone is ringing
It's Big Booms Boom
back from 10 years in the boom"

The other one that might be a little different is this:
So we’re driving in a Boom Boom
Driving, back seat in the Boom ba Boom

I've heard (and close captioning says) it's:
So we're driving in a boom boom
driving back to your boom ba boom

Good work, Andria. This one's a tough one!

Pretty much what I was hearing also, other than

"My phone is ringing
It's Big Booms Boom
back from 10 years in the boom"

I heard more as

"My phone is ringing
It's me Boom Boom
back from 10 years in the boom"

Great how we all hear slightly different things. I put it down to accents and how New Zealanders pronounce certain sounds/vowels/words etc. I love how they (Bret especially) say Neil Finn. Its more like Null Funn

Sort of how he says fish. That sort of clenched-jaw pronunciation. I find myself randomly saying fish nowadays, just for the fun of it. Fush.

I'll just chock it all up to New Zealand accents then and not bad listening comprehension...

It took me awhile to be able to figure out who they were talking about when they refer to Null Funn. *L* Fush...

Out of all of the guesses so far I like the "Big Booms Boom back from ten years in the Boom". Makes much more sense than mine. It fits in with my interpretation of this particular person being back from the jungle. *L* That's what I got out of it...don't know why. :)
I do also like the "So we're driving in a boom boom, driving back to your boom ba boom" Makes much more sense! Thanks, Jones. :D
