On the road
Back, back on the road
tomorrow night another show
we'd love to stay
but we prefer to go
back on the road

Another relationship that's come to nothing
another hotel, another complimentary muffin
another tour bus on a highway set adrift
another two days wasted 'cause we're stuck inside a lift
another venue, another backstage pass
another passed out groupie with a goldfish in her arse.
Yes, we've had some stories, we've had a lot of laughs
out on the road

sorry Oslo, we gotta get back on the road.

I couldn't help it, Nancy  there are some bits my rusty ears can't make out what they're saying.. I'm sure any of you intelligent ladies will be able to fill the blanks.

If anyone wants to contribute with the chords (for uke  ) i'd be very grateful because it's a wonderful song! And i love how skillfully they wrap their banter into a beautiful song.

Coincidentally I'm uploading it now. Will put the link here when it's done.

SW I hope between you and I and the other really good quality vids on YT we have the whole HW bowl show on video. Wouldn't that be awesome? (hint: Yes, yes it would  )

Thanks so much Amanda for posting the lyrics! I think there might be slight variations of the lyrics at different shows. Here are the lyrics I hear from the Wembley arena gig on May 25th.

(Starts at 1:30)

Back, back on the road
Tomorrow night another show
We'd love to stay
But we prefer to go
Back on the road

Another relationship that's come to nothing
Another hotel, another complimentary muffin
Another tour bus on a highway set adrift
Another two whole days wasted because we're stuck inside a lift
Another venue, another backstage pass
Another passed out groupie with a goldfish in her arse.
Though we've got some stories, we've had a lot of laughs
out on the road

Sorry London, we've gotta go back on the road.

Thanks for the lyrics Amanda and Venus!

SW, I also quite enjoyed the clicking sound at the beginning as you clearly were pressing desperately on the zoom button.
