What the Folk!

This song didn't appeal to me mush at first but i have come to love simplistic conversational lyrics and fluffy tune

I wanted to quote the song and went searching for the lyrics but couldn't find them so i thought i should write 'em up! No better way than to do it yourself, i suppose. So here you go... sorry if they aren't perfect

J: We’d just grab a sandwich and put it in our mouths - that’s the only way to have sandwiches. Ooo jenny, tell me do u still walk ? Do u still get into sandwiches in a big way?

B: Still walk a lot but I am not eating as many sandwiches as back then

B: Do u remember what we did up there at the top of the hill?

J: Kind of

B: We were standing at the look out

J: I remember exactly what we did at the look out – we just looookkkeeedddd out… across the city from our little spot on the hilltop. It is so pretty from way up there. We talked about how the light from the buildings and cars seemed like reflections of the stars that shined out so pretty and bright, that night.

B: It was daytime

J: The day time of the nights

B: Do you remember what u said to me?

J: Not word for word actually jenny, but I remember there was some verbs.

B: Well u said meet me here in one year, u just needed some time to clear your head, and u seem to have done that.

B: No, not at all ‘cause we adopted him. I can’t believe you don’t remember, it was a very difficult process

That kind of thing just happens all the time, I just got one of those faces I suppose

Nicely done. Its quite a long song to transcribe. And having typed up a whole heap of Conchords songs, I know this from personal experience
Its a lovely song though, I love the guitar work in it. The guys have definately improved on the guitars over the years

I'm thinking of doing another lyrics page, or expanding the present one, so chaces are I'll add this one is. I'll be sure to credit you for your finger wear and tear

Just listened to the song through again. God, it's funny.

Not bad at all, but you could have had made it a little bit more professional by putting "You" instead of "U" and capitalizing the letters that needed it. Hey I noticed if you put the letters representing Bret and Jemaine's lines on backwards, (for example: B- I meant it was nice to meet you the time that I met you. But J, Jemaine says that line, not B, Bret) It still works out good because Bret's character is J, Jenny, and Jemaine's character is B, Brian. Just a dumb observation.
