That sounds really interesting... too bad it's on the same night as the GB premiere. :?

Aw! Too bad. That's a big scheduling mistake, right there. Not at the same time, I hope? Maybe you could still see it, though that's a lot of movie watching in one night... but I guess that's to be expected, at a film festival.

Yep, same time. The Drafthouse that's showing that is not affiliated with the Drafthouse that organizes Fantastic Fest, so that's probably why.

That's a bummer! Largo was a good film, but Jemaine in person. :hrm: Actually it won't really be Jemaine since he will be in character. I can't believe they are scheduled for the same time. What are the chances! Either way, I don't get to go because I am no longer an Austinite. :tears:

Hi Dierdre and poptartgirl!
I was just thinking of you both and tvldiva the other day, wondering if any of you would make the Film Festival to see Gentlemen Broncos, not knowing they were showing the Largo Film.
But you're no longer an Austinite? Where do you live now?

I won't be seeing the Largo screening as I have concert plans for Thurs evening.

I probably won't be seeing GB as part of Fantastic Fest. I'll wait until it's in theaters.

It's funny, I lurk around the forum quite a bit and even think of posting sometimes. But I don't. I guess Poptart inspired me today. It has been 10 months (yesterday) since I moved back to Tulsa. I'll always miss Austin and maybe I'll get to live there again, but this is where DH's job is. What can you do?

Good to talk to you Nancy and Poptart!

Wasn't sure where else to post these. They're screen caps of the trailer which you can watch at http://largofilm.com/ and some stills from the film.

Oh, and no DVD release date is set for this yet but you can save it to your Netflix queue!

Does anyone know if this will get a DVD release? I wish we had a festival nearby....I'd love to see this.

Yeah me too.

Red I saw that last photo over on the Me & Him thread and I just love it. They both have the exact same expression on their face, lol. ;) What a great picture, I'd love to know the context.

Yeah, I'm guilty of cross-posting those last 2, Mock. Those grins make me happy.

And Laura, no DVD release date that I could find but you can save it to your Netflix queue so that means it has to be available someday.

Now just play the MP3 that Michael made of Jem's laugh while you watch her sig-Jems......

Thanks, Red. Mmm-hmm, that pic of the 2 of them is really, really lovely.

So they play Motha Uckas in the movie (in answer to Nancy's question on Pg.4)....and Bret's playing uke? :hrm: He usually plays his keytar, right?
I really want to see that. :) The rest of the performers sound great too...it just looks like a really entertaining flick.
