Grrr. I can't watch it until tomorrow. I'm dying to know what happens. Don't worry I'll stay away from this thread until after I've watched it so y'all can discuss without having to worry about spoilers.

OMG! I just finished watching it! I cannot believe it!!!!

Sorry. That was a lie. I've never seen any of the episodes. I just wanted in on your conversation because I read posts like that here every week. Sounds riveting! What is the show about anyway?

For reals??? Oooo, Dexter is so good!!

It's about a man who's a sociopath attempting to lead an outwardly "normal" life as he follows the code set up by his adoptive father, Harry, who was a cop and trained Dexter in how to temper his urge to kill by using it only on murderers who've gotten away from the law. Hm, that was one heckuva run-on sentence!

In the beginning, Dexter feels like he has no emotions.....but you slowly discover why he is the way he is and so much unfolds from there. The writing of this show is phenomenal, as is the acting. S1 is probably the best written and acted season of any show I've ever seen. And S4 is running a close second!!

It's not a gratuitous show about killing....all I can say is give Season 1 a try. :)

It's killing me that ep 12 isn't up anywhere yet!!!! :thud:

Oh My Holy Crap!!! :thud:  :thud: Didn't think they'd do that!!!

The repercussions of this.......

It's going to be obvious that it was personal and totally aimed at Dexter by Trinity......but why??? How will he explain it?

Ok, no more til later when we can all discuss........

Ahh DITTO to the :thud: OFT!

And a :wtf: I agree, totally did not see that coming! My stomach dropped when I realized what happened!

I wish that the next season wasn't a year away! Your right Laura it will look as if it was personal. I am SO interested to see how next season will pan out. This season was IMHO the best off all of them.

Totally agree. There wasn't an episode this season that didn't have me on the edge of my seat.

Total applause from me.

Colour me thrilled for season five.

I'd highly recommend starting from season 1 and finding out for yourself, I don't think you'll be disappointed. It's the most tense suspenseful thing you'll ever watch. Rent it, netflix it, buy it, download it, stream it, whatever you do, it's good.

Oooh!! John Lithgow was so cool on twitter today. He responded to a lot of tweets!

The next season is gonna start up with quite an insane story line!! What is Dexter to do???? Oh, the madness!!

I can't believe we have to wait so long to find out what is gonna happen! This in my opinion was just as good or better than season 1. Lithgow was the bomb!
