So many great pictures! Love the tree stump and the fancy waterfall and all the doggies!

I always take more than one photo; I just narrow it down to my one official picture for the day. At this rate, I'm going to need extra storage for my computer just for all my photos!

I remembered to take my camera with me yesterday on my daily grocery outing, but I was feeling kind of lazy and didn't take any shots of the midday fog which looked really nice on some of the side streets along the canal. Instead, I got a shot of a figurine that I pass almost every day. It's in the front window of one of the funky hairdressers. At first, I thought this shot was going to end up deleted, because there was a LOT of reflection showing up in the window and it was distorting the picture. But then I simply turned up the contrast and came up with a fun, somewhat psychedelic picture.

Since the wonky pinky thing is over, I'll jump on the eye picture trend tomorrow...errm, I mean later today. I really need to go to sleep.

Indigo - I LOVE hot pepper Jesus. :prayer:

I like it when people use bones to decorate their houses. :thumb:

Image

The best thing about this, which I was unable to capture in a visually compelling way, is that it's on the chimney of a house in central Kentucky.

Image

I love the incongruity of this and I will be so sad when these people move and take their longhorn steer skull with them (the house is for sale). Or maybe the skull wil stay with the house, lol. :thumb:

I was taking a picture of the fish, not the man in the wetsuit, I swear. :halo:

I think I watched this orangutan swing on that green scarf for a good five minutes. He was putting on a show.

Olifanten! Cool pictures, Faith. I love those huge water tanks that let you feel like you're down there with the fish.

Mock, I love the skull chimney decoration! How odd! I wonder if they're from Texas originally. ;)

Ha, that steer-skull is great! I hope it stays when the house sells.

Love the zoo pics....the turtle and kids statue is neat. :)

Whenever there's a person in a tank with critters, part of me always kind of hopes something will bite him....(Not a shark or anything lethal....just a nibble, lol.)

Yeah they must be from Texas or somewhere in the Southwest. I hope it stays with the house too - it's pretty high up there so they'd have to REALLY want it to take it down. So the chances are good.

Faith I enjoyed your zoo photos. I like the guy in the tank.

It is a dark, gray, gloomy, cold, rainy day out there so the best I could do is a picture featuring the dashboard of my car.

Image

This is a bobble head Einstein that came in a Happy Meal. I liked the idea of a bobble head Einstein so much I had to stick him on my dashboard. He has a very calming effect on me, lol. :thumb:

Here's a pic of a cut that I had that was causing me much angst as it seemed to take forever to heal, was very painful and has left a scar. I wanted to document this injury in case I lost my arm or something later because of it.

SW, that is gross. But not nearly as gross as I was afraid it was going to be, based on your description of it. ;)

Panda, that is an awesome picture.
