I feel obliged to post this  .

Doggy Bounce

Oh Yeeaahh
Oh Yeah
(Doggy Bounce)
I know it's happening
There's really nothing to it
(Arf Arf)
You know you want to do it

Bounce bounce, doggy bounce
Do the doggy bounce
Bounce bounce, doggy bounce
(Bounce bounce)
Do the doggy bounce
Bounce bounce, doggy bounce
(Bounce bounce)
Do the doggy bounce
Bounce bounce, doggy bounce
Bongo Solo

(Arf Arf)

Put your booty on the floor,
And get down on all fours,
It ain't against the law,
Make your hands into a paw

(Bounce bounce)
Doggy Bounce
(Bounce bounce)
Doggy Bounce
(Bounce bounce)
Doggy Bounce
(Bounce bounce)Oh Yeah
Doggy Bounce

Doggy do's and doggy don'ts
Doggy will's and doggy won'ts
(Arf Arf)
Do the doggy bounce
(Arf Arf)
Do the doggy bounce

Doggy do's and doggy don'ts
Doggy will's and doggy won'ts
You know you want to do it
(Arf Arf)
Do the doggy bounce
(Arf Arf)
Do the doggy bounce

Pieska skok

Taaaaaak jest
tak jest
ja wiem co siÄ™ dzieje
jest to prosta sprawa
(Oooo.. wooff)*
wie, że chcesz to robić

Skok, skok, pieska skok
róbcie pieska skok
Skok, skok, pieska skok
róbcie pieska skok
Skok, skok, pieska skok
róbcie pieska skok
Skok, skok, pieska skok

Solo bongo

Ruszaj tyłkiem do parkietu**
stawaj na czworaka
nie jest to przestępstwo
zrobić rząd psia łapa!

=============

Generally, the Polish version is a quite faithful translation of the English one (or it's the other way round  ) and it's a bit shorter. When I first heard it on the show I thought they're singing in Serbian or Slovakian. It took me some time to recognize my native language :roll2: . Hence I suspect that it's been sung by a non-Polish person or someone who's Polish but haven't been to Poland for a long time. So, here are my comments:

* Polish dogs bark 'hau, hau' (pron. how how)

** I hear 'po' - eng. 'on' instead of 'do' - 'to'. If they do sing 'po' then it should be 'parkiecie' (declinations... Ugh...)

'po parkietu' - not grammatically correct
'ruszaj tyłkiem po parkiecie' - move your booty on/around the dance floor
'ruszaj tyłkiem do parkietu' - go to the dance floor on your booty

I wasn't expecting to hear Polish on the show and I'm grateful to them for including my country.

Very cool, thanks emira! I'm half-Polish so I was really happy to hear it on the show as well. :)

That is funny, emira, that you thought they were singing in Serbian or Slovakian. I freaked out because I thought it sounded like they were singing in Ukrainian! You're probably right about it being sung by a non-Polish person. The singers/translaters probably did a liberal translation. Here in Chicago, the Polish and Ukie communities overlap and I can totally understand Polish and they (unbelievable to me) totally can understand me.

I always say that to my dog at the dog park and people look at me like why am I questioning my dog's actions :?
If I did I'd hold you tight into every single night & we'd fall asleep together & we'd wake up in the sunlight. Well, maybe I'm a dreamer, but, maybe one day you'll see, that dreams are......

I have a friend from Ukraine and I understand him pretty well :D . I used to learn Russian at primary school, so I get the eastern languages in general. I think, the older generation don't have problems with understanding Ukrainian etc., but the young one is just a complete new story, I mean, in Poland.

I'm 1/4 Polish , so I was a really happy to hear it as well! Thanks emira! I self-taught myself a bit of Polish in high school to try to converse with my 100% Polish grandfather, but then he passed away so now I don't know anyone who is Polish anymore so I just gave up :(

You self-taught yourself Polish? I'm impressed!

I'm sorry about your grandfather :( . He must have been a great man  . Has it been long since he passed away? How's your writing? If you wish we can PM to each other in Polish :D .
