Oh gawd. LOL. As someone who has done my share of hitting the floor face first I must enquire, why did she faint?

SW, he didn't go into details. He just said that she said "Oh calamity!" before she really fainted. Who says something like that before passing out? I've only fainted once in my life and I don't remember having any time to say anything before I hit the ground.

Hey bakergirl!! So very nice to see you back around these parts!

I looked through your screen caps, Faith, and now I'm even more excited about seeing the extras.

So I just watched this movie for the first time with my best friend, Jonathan. And he has been a real trooper with watching FOTC whenever I want, etc. And for the most part, he's loved it. Well, tonight...I think I undid all of that . We both disliked it. Especially him. He'll seriously NEVER let me live this down :roll2:. We both loved Chevalier, naturally. He did such a great job. And, like Laura, I didn't find myself hating him, just sympathizing with him for being desperate and doing what he needed to do. Horrible that he did it at a kid's expense, but still, I didn't completely hate him.

That's all I can really say. Maybe one more viewing will make up for it, but I don't know. I'm off to bed for now.

:roll2: She must have a bit of drama & humor in her to get those words out before fainting. One time right before fainting I woozily said "I don't feel good" so after that my friends would mimic me by saying that & rolling their eyes back in their heads.

I agree Kelly, I'm sorry but IMHO this film is complete crap. Jemaine, of course, was wonderful.

I'm glad to see I'm not alone in my dislike for this film. I knew it was going to be bad going into it, but even I was shocked by just how bad it was. I'd say it ranks among the top five worst films I've ever seen, and being a huge fan of B-movies that's really saying something. No offense to Jemaine -- I think he and Michael Angarano did a wonderful job with the script they were given. And being able to see Jemaine's bare chest 30 feet high made it worth seeing in the theater. But it's not a film I ever, ever want to see again (unless I can fast forward and just watch the Chevalier scenes). :hrmpf:

I guess I'm just not a Jared Hess fan. :dunno:

I find Jared Hess a lot funnier in person than in his movies. He has a decent sense of humor, like when he made the Honey Nut Cheerios comment in the behind the scenes, but it doesn't seem to translate to his movies. It's true it's not the best movie in the world and I'll be honest. If Jemaine wasn't in it, I never would have seen it.

You know what really got me? The way the girls friend (cannot remember his name) kept his mouth open in that weird way when he talked.
Kinda made me queasy.
