Now the waiting process begins for me - it should be a little less than 2 weeks. :waiting:

I saw a cute guy in the blue shirt from teefury.com at the Highball last night! I tried to kidnap and and hold him until one of you could get here and "rescue" him so your love story could begin, but alas he was with a girl.

Red - when I read your post I got an image of a man and woman embracing, the B and J faces on their shirts mashed together.

Today at the Salvation Army Thrift Store, the girl who checked me out squealed "Ooooo! That's FOTC, isn't it?" :D
So we had a bit of a chat about how great they are and how much we love them. I showed her my hug pic (Yes, I have a copy in my purse...what ofi t?? :hrmpf: ) and she said how huggable he seems. :D I told her I hoped she'd find out firsthand one day.

It's cool to meet other fans. 8)

I wore my shirt out shopping yesterday too. I got so many "oh-my-god-I-love-your-shirt" comments that I lost count of them all. Even my husband loves this shirt. I believe he called the design "brilliant" but when I offered to order him one he just rolled his eyes.

It's so cool how FOTC related t-shirts can initiate short conversations and bring fans together. 8)

Agreed! This is my first FOTC shirt so I was a little surprised at all the recognition. But I shouldn't have been since when 4everconchordsfan was in town and wore her FOTC shirt she got "I love your shirt/those guys" comments from like 8 or 10 people in one day.

So if the Berkeley thing ever happens and a massive WTF! member meetup takes place, we must all vow to wear our blue FOTC shirts. Swear on your wonky pinkies, ladies!

Now it can actually happen. You have to take a pic of everyone in their matching shirts.

I received my T-shirt order last week. I got one for myself, and one for my hunny as a surprise. Needless to say, he was very surprised, and has worn it to school twice already. I haven't worn mine yet, I'm thinking of saving it to wear to the concert next month. I fear I may ruin it if I wear it before then. (I'm very spill-prone.) Anyway, my boyfriend has received several compliments on his shirt, even from people who don't know about the Conchords.

The only bad thing is that the stitching at the collar is already coming undone, leaving a small hole right on the front of his shirt. :( It hasn't even been in the washing machine yet, and it's already coming apart! I'm thinking of contacting Teefury about it, but I'm afraid they won't be able to send a replacement. I may be better off just buying some matching thread, and sewing it up myself. In any event, it's a great shirt, and Mr. Mango enjoys it very much.
